Loved it and will be able to apply it in the future - Attending Emi’s cooking classes was an exceptional experience that stood out from other cooking classes I've taken. Emi’s class focused on teaching practical and useful skills that I can confidently use to prepare Japanese food. Unlike other classes where you might learn something elaborate and never replicate it, Emi’s lessons were hands-on and incredibly applicable. Emi herself is lovely and welcoming, making us feel right at home in her kitchen. The food we prepared was absolutely delicious, and sharing the meal together was a highlight of the evening. We had a wonderful time learning about each other over dinner, which added a personal touch to the experience. Emi’s passion for cooking and warm hospitality made the class not just educational but also immensely enjoyable. I highly recommend Emi’s Japanese cooking classes to anyone looking to discover new ingredients and ways to prepare delicious food while having a delightful time.

Great way to learn how to make local cuisine - Emi, our host, reached out to us prior to the event. It’s advisable to have What’s app running on your phone to receive notifications or state in your reservation communication by email. She then works through a list of meal items that you will enjoy learning how to make. We made dumplings, salad and a soup which we both loved. If we make it back to Tokyo she would certainly be on our to visit list.

In home Japanese cooking. - This was a delightful evening! Emi met us at the agreed place even though traffic made us 15 minutes late and took us on a short walk to her apartment. Everything was clean and well organized. We learned to cook ginger pork, tempura and gyōzas. She instructed and demonstrated but we did all the prep. The cooking area is small so she and I cooked and my husband watched and took pictures. We prepared food for two but had way too much and asked her to eat with us. It was delicious! Emi arranged for a taxi before we started and it came on time. She walked us out and made sure the driver knew where to take us. It's a great experience for 2 or 3 people and was a fun adventure on a free evening on our tour.

Very good time and nice meeting - Emi is great and very kind. We were able to discuss our respective cultures and it was very enriching. The cooking class went very well. We were able to choose 3 dishes from a list and cooked together before tasting. The small accompaniments (tea and sake) were also great. To do without hesitation. And if you're a Harry Potter fan, there's the studio not far away ;)

Wonderful cooking class! - Me and my friend visited a cooking class hosted by Emi, she was lovely, very sociable, funny and most importantly- the food was great. We both didn't know where the time went as time flew by! She created a pleasant atmosphere with music, laughter and she was very kind to all of our mistakes :) We cooked salmon with hijiki seaweed (highly recommend!), gyoza and miso soup. Also. later in the day I lost my wallet and Emi stayed in touch with me giving some tips on how to find it. I personally give her a big thanks for that! P.S. the wallet was later found!!!
