Great experience, highly recommend! - We had a wonderful time touring the Jamaican outback with our fantastic guide Aston! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Jamaica, the local flora and Fauna and was very kind answering all of our questions. The tour was the perfect length and we enjoyed the rum tasting and tour of the exotic animals before heading back to the main recreation area in a comfortable jeep. Thanks so much to Aston for providing a top tier tour!

Great Time - The safari was a great kickoff to our vacation. We had a wonderful tour guide, Metro. He did a fabulous job explaining everything to us and he was kind enough to take our pictures. The mineral bath was also nice. The finale of the tour which was fabulous —- the bird aviary, we could feed the birds from our hands. I would highly recommend this tour.

Jamwest Jam Culture Tour rip off - We booked a tour through the desk at the Grand Palladium and went on the Jamwest Culture tour. We were told we would ride through the jungle, see various animals, be able to hold some animals, stop at a Jamaican village, and learn about the culture. What we got was a 15 min ride through a dried up mangrove to see a couple animals in cages then back to the gift shop. That was it. No village, no culture exposure. The tour desk also said we would be able to swim in the Jamwest mineral pool, but we didn't get that either. Very disappointed considering we paid $170 USD x 3 people.

A badly kept zoo visit - This is basically a trip on the back of a lorry to see some poorly kept animals. The guide was knowledgable which is a shame as his talents could be much better used elsewhere. If you want to see Jamaican wildlife don’t do this, do something like the black river instead which is much better. The whole trip lasted for about 45 minutes that’s it.

Stolen phone from transport van! - Well the adventure park was fine. But however one person in my party left her iPhone on the van returning us to our resort in Montego Bay. We were the LAST people in the van. The only person was the driver who also took us to JamWest in the morning. She when we got to our room she realized the phone was missing and had to leave it in the van becada she made 2 calls in the van which she never left. We called several times and the phone went straight to voicemail, then it said the phone was disabled, then a Jamaican accent male answered and held a conversation for a couple of minutes. He called back and the number was a New York area code. After calling again the message said the phone is disabled. Clearly the driver stole the phone or picked up someone else who did and they disabled the phone. JamWest need to answer for this disreputable driver. Terrible experience! Beware thieves will smile in your face, accept your gratituity and steal from you anyway!

Not worth the money! - This is by far the worst execution our family has ever been on for $95 US each. We just returned from Jamaica Feb 7th, 2024. The pamphlet says "fascinating history of Jamaica complete with an enriched food and rum tasting". No food just a shot of rum! All animal's, most not indigenous to Jamaica were kept in very small wired cages. Petting zoo was one tortuous. Bird Aviary was a chicken coop. We stayed at the Palladium and we were never told that the park was 2 hours away, if know we would have passed on this excusion. This is a park that is truly rundown and not worth the visit!

JAMWEST IS A Caroval - Hi All, One of the things on my bucket list was to go horseback riding in the blue waters of Jamaica. My hotel recommended that we go with a company called Jamwest. My taxi driver recommended we don’t use them it’s very commercial and we won’t like it. The first day I hired a taxi and with a private driver and had an amazing time went to YS Falls and the blue hole and was amazing. The second day I didn’t listen and went with jam west from the beginning I was really disappointed was a glorified carnival. We booked horse back tiding but it was a walk like in a pony show and they take you to the water for two min and come back. The service and communication was not good at all STAY AWAY. There are better options. Jamaica is beautiful don’t let jamwest ruin your taste of this beautiful country.
