Horseback riding and ATVs - James had so many fun activities for us to do, horseback riding and ATVs were a blast! We had great tour guides (Keith, Shine, Ryan, & Birdie)! Highly recommend this if you’re in Jamaica!

Finally a horseback tour that can cater to experienced riders! - I have 15 years of horse ownership and riding experience and I’ve never had a guided horse tour that was actually fun until now. This one was unique because each rider had their own guide and that guide was the caretaker of the horse so they knew each other well. They really tailor the experience to your level. I rode Lasko and my guide was Jermaine, we did a lot of galloping and racing down the paths. Jermaine was happy to run ahead and let me do my thing once he determined I could ride. My husband who has a little experience with horses also had a great time testing his limits under the supervision of his guide. We got to canter side by side and my husband was so proud. The swimming was also fantastic and the horses are extremely well trained and nothing bothers them. They are happy to do their jobs and well taken care of. I had fun talking to the guides about their care and training, they were very knowledgeable. This is a must do if you love horses and want a memorable ride. The horses are safe for all riders and are honest enough for anyone to manage.

Great experience but aware of your own safety - Fantastic experience. But the dispatcher did not interact well- giving directions of where to go between each activity. We fid horseback, ATV and was going to do zipline. It concerns me there appeared to be lack of concern for safety. I expressed concern as there was thunder. Whenever there is thunder there is always lightning. The staff still insisted the zipline should go ahead. Whilst we were harnessed in and the first person was ready to go on the zipline lightning struck. We were very lucky. We were then told to run downstairs. This should have been called off before we climbed the stairs. It really concerns me about the lack of concern.

Just Alright - We booked this excursion through our hotel. We were picked up from our resort along with people from other hotels. The ride was longer than we thought it would be but the driver was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Once we arrived there was a little confusion but we got to where we had to. The horseback ride was a little short but the water portion was amazing. The horses truly love the water. The young men who lead you are very nice. This was a fun excursion but not one I would be rushing to repeat.

Horse ride in Jamaica. - Riding a horse into the sea was an interesting experience and was as advertised. What was not clear if you are picked up at a hotel in the Montego Bay Area was the approx. 2 hour drive to the JamWest facility from Montego Bay. The drive through the Jamaican countryside was interesting but it would have better if this was stated up front. Also, if your bus had folks doing more than one activity at JamWest, you had to wait (for us about 3 hours) for the others to finish all their activities. Again, it would have been nice to have known this up front.

Terrible - Well, they say 1 hour and 30 minutes trip but it took 8 hours to go , make the horse riding and come back to the resort . I think they should be more clear about time. I lost another ticket that I booked . Also it’s not 45 mits , it was only 20 mits. I don’t recommend this for anyone

Do Not Waste Money on this Activity! - Complete waste of time, we were on the horses for at most 20 minutes and most of that time was spent waiting for people to get their pictures taken. We were only advised that the horses would not be swimming as we were waiting for the tour to start and we were not given the option of replacing with another activity. The total distance of the ride was max 1 km. Staff seem fed up and un motivated. We spent a lot of time waiting for the shuttle to take us to an activity. Also included was a visit to the mineral baths you are only allowed to stay for 5 minutes and the told it's time to leave. There is a kids water park but it looked pretty lame. Give this activity a miss, very over priced for what you actually get.

Be ready 3 hours before the time! - Unfortunately I booked this trip at 2 PM and they tried to pick me up at 11 AM. My flight arrived at 10:30 AM. I couldn't make it. I thought the pick up time was one hour before. I called the tour agent and requested a refund or credit. They offered me another date but I had other plans. I didn't get a refund. Call Vialtor and they said it may not be possible for a refund. I need to cancel 24 hour prior...I was upset because it was my birthday. Then a saw this tour bus and I asked where are you heading? They said Sandy Beach. Can I go on this tour? He said hop in. This guy saved my day...I went on horse riding and had fun. Chukka tours. They also sell here.in vialtor. So at the.end of the day it's nobody's fault but your own bad luck. If you book this tour make sure you're ready to go 3 hours before the time. Au Revoir!
