Incredible once in a lifetime experience! - My wife and I absolutely loved this experience. Carlos our guide gave us a a trip to remember. We loved talking to him about the culture and he was very informative about all the different trees, plants and wildlife. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone. Getting to ride the horses into the ocean was amazing, like nothing I’ve ever experienced on horseback before. 5/5 stars for us

Briliiant Experience - Carlos was a great guide. We had 2 and a half hours of riding, saw lots and the horses loved the sea. The horses are well looked after and well trained , they just know where they are going and never having ridden a horse before i was not scared and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great value for money and would strongly recommend Reggae Horseback.

Just do it! - This was the best experience on my trip. The horses knew the trail and once in the water they took off running. It was an adrenaline rush like no other. Our guides Jermaine and Tevin were awesome as well as the tour operator, Paul who did a great job responding to my messages when I had questions. Thank you so much for a great experience!

An Amazing Experience - The tour guides were really knowledgable…The horses were calm and loved the water once we rode on the beach and waded with them…The guides took lots of pics and videos for us for memories…Saw some cows, an ostrich, and also peacocks on our journey.

Incredible experience! - Such an incredible experience! Truly a once in a lifetime, bucket list experience that was well worth it. Carlos, our guide, took us on a trail that led to a quiet beach where we went swimming with the horses! The horses seemed happy to enjoy the refreshing water. Paul, the owner, picked us up directly from our hotel. All in all, a fantastic experience! 10/10 recommend.

Don't bother - It was very confusing when we arrived at the site for the horseback tour. I think it was a way for them to get more tips. The driver said we were waiting for 7 more people that were late but that we would be getting a personal tour with the owner and that it normally would cost $40/pp more so we were "lucky". We never saw the other people, the said they rescheduled. The horses were really thin, and did not want to go in the water, they just wanted out. The beach definately does not look like the picture, there was a lot of garbage all along the beach, because of the location on the island the water is very dirty. The guide was very soft spoken and we were not able to hear what he was saying. The ride to the water was just ok, not scenic but the small section with the mangroves was nice. I wouldn't go back or recommend to others.

Needs improvement - It started off pretty good because he actually was on time to pick me up, which is unusual. The drive going in was perfect. He pointed out different things to me great. We got to the excursion.People were waiting at the gate for him to get in.Because apparently he had the only key. Once inside, he disappeared for a few minutes.Came back with an ostrich and a ostrich egg entertaining a group of ten. Then he disappeared again for about 45 minutes to an hour. Now mind you, it's burning sun blazing hot at ten o'clock in the morning. When he finally did appear back.I told him to take me back to my resort.Cause after standing in the blazing sun for an hour and a 1/2.I wasn't getting on those horses that he had those horses look sick. I can't make this up on the way back.He drove hard as he could flung me all over the bus and wouldn't even open the door for me.When I got back to the resort to get out of the van told me to push a button to get out. Hopefully, he will improve, and his business will flourish. But in the meantime, I do not recommend this to anyone. Oh yeah, he first told me he would give me a refund. Then try to charge me again. But I'm fighting with my credit card.Companies to get my money back! So word to the wise? Do not use your debit card when booking these excursions. Use your credit card because the credit card will get your money back. In the meantime, JamWest made up for all of this mess.It was wonderful!!

Disappointing horseback ride AVOID - "Disappointing Horseback Riding Experience in Negril: Promised a beach ride, ended up on a deserted, seaweed-filled side of the island with no scenic views. Promised photos and videos never delivered. Tour guide was more interested in talking about personal financial needs than providing a quality tour, taking us on a non-scenic, brief ocean path. Horses were limited to a walk, with no opportunity to run, and the guide left us unattended. Returned to a long wait and an overall poor experience filled with bugs and mosquitoes. Additionally, Viator misdirected us 30 minutes away due to a lack of coordination with the local provider. A complete waste of time and money. Highly recommend avoiding this experience."
