Temple of Demeter - Our experienced escort on the way to the site in the bus will give you information about Demeter temple and there you ll pay your entrance fee ticket (4€ pp in cash only) and underyour escort s guidance you ll visit first the temple and then the museum located there.
On Tuesdays this site is closed so instead you will visit Bazeos Tower ,former monastery of 16th cen AD and nowadays cultural centre (5 Euro pp entrance fee) - Damalas - Along with your escort , after walking in the heart of the village you ll visit the tradistional olivepress where your escort will explain how the olive oil procedure was years ago and then together you ll enjoy a live demonstation at the traditional pottery workshop. Here you ll learn what is sfouni or the cup of justice.
- Chalkio - The neoclassical village of Naxos is here to show you class and art!From the bus stop along with your escort you will be led to the historical centre. You will be shown the highlights of the village such as citron distillery to try citron liquor ,visit FISH & OLIVE gallery ,PHOS gallery or just take photos in the picturesque village.
- Apeiranthos - The marble village is one of its kind! Along with your escort ,you ll walk to the square,see towers and on your own you can walk in the marble cobbled streets ,the arches and visit museums such as Geological,art,folklore and Natural history museums.Don t get lost in the maze!! On Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays/Sundays we have lunchbreak here. On days we don t have lunch break here the break duration will be 45-50’

Apollon - A relaxing stop at the northest edge of the island where you can enjoy swimming or having a coffee and dessert or just stroll in the picturesque village taking photos .
On Tuesdays /Thursdays/Saturdays we have lunch break by the seashore so 90’ break will be done here - Apollonas Kouros - The most impressive Archaic period statue on the island because of its size (10,5 m) lying on the ground. There are 56 steps to climb in order to get there but it s totally worth it !

Naxos is quite a large island and it’s nearly impossible to cover it all in a day. However, we’re presenting an opportunity to witness the best of Naxos in an 8-hour tour giving you a comprehensive insight into the island, its history, and its current state. In particular, navigating the winding narrow streets of the northern part of the island isn’t as straightforward as one might assume. We assure you a safe journey, enabling you to have a joyful day on the island.

The tour made us fall in love with Naxos! - We loved this day trip around Naxos! Nikolas was fantastic and we really appreciated being led by a local who had many connections to the area and told us about the local culture and history. We absolutely recommend doing this tour of Naxos because you wouldn’t know how beautiful the island actually is if you didn’t leave Chora. Our driver was great at navigating us up and down the mountain ranges.

Great tour - Our guide Nicholas was informative and funny with lots of anecdotes. The tour covers all the iconic mountain villages in Naxos. Our driver Adonis was excellent as well. Recommend wholeheartedly.

Naxos day tour - Nice arrangement when travelling Naxos without a car. Do not need to worry about catching a bus. I hate being forced to write a comment with # of character that I have to write.

Hello Naxos, nice to meet you. - This was a good introduction to Naxos. We did this tour on October 14, 2023. There were about a dozen guests. Nicolas was our guide. He provided appropriate commentary along the way. He was personable and answered questions when asked. The bus tour took us all over the island, covering a lot of ground which gave us a great overview of how mountainous and large the island is. We did find there was a bit too much blank space/ free time in places where there wasn’t much to do but saying that, many of our other Viator tours have been more interactive and jam packed. For example, on their tour we paid 4 euros admission to see the Temple of Demeter but there was no guide or explanation for what we were looking at. Overall though, it provided a good introduction to this beautiful island and the price was right for what we got.

Average - The stops along the way we're all interesting. The driver was great, navigating the large bus on the winding roads. The tour guide had some interesting information to share. The bus had no air conditioning, so was sweltering and it wasn't even a hot day (24C). The tour took 10 hours, not 8, and because of the heat in the bus felt excruciatingly long
