Situated 7 km away from Naxos Town and 2 km from the “Gerontoelia” district of “Adisaros” (where the oldest olive tree in the world is reputedly located), there’s a farm on a hilltop owned by Giannis - named the Farm Experience after his wife Katerina suggested the title. This farm has been handed down from one generation to the next until it landed into the hands of Giannis!

Awesome place - This place is great to visit while in Naxos. We were able to make cheese and see how long the process takes for good cheese. We fed the goats and the sheep. Had some great food. We were educated on what free range goats and sheep are. Naxos seems to be the only place that has it.

Personal experience not to be missed - A charming family experience with a local Greek family that we thoroughly enjoyed. The food, the cheese making, the farm and the animals were so amazing but the real gem is getting to know the family and spending the day at their home. Would highly recommend this tour to do something that will make your top Greek excursion list.

A farm, a vineyard, and a good time! - We met Giannis and Katerina on a windy day in May and felt like we spent the afternoon with family! What a fantastic and unusual experience to help us get to know Naxos off of the beaten path! We first visited over local food and wine and then went on a tour of the farm while Katerina told us about the challenges and rewards of running a multigenerational farm. The animals, the vineyard, and the view were worth the trip alone. The cheese-making was a new experience and it was one of the highlights of our entire trip! How wonderful that this couple has opened their home and their farm and invited us in!
