To begin with, guests will have the opportunity to meet a diverse range of farm animals, including chickens, rabbits, pigs, peacocks, and more. You will also have the opportunity to engage in collecting the day’s freshly laid eggs.
Following that, a visit to the olive groves will allow you to learn about the methods employed to cultivate healthy trees and produce top-quality olive oil.
Subsequently, we will guide you through the potato fields, introducing you to the renowned Naxian potato.
You will then have the chance to explore various fruit trees, sampling the delicious seasonal fruits they yield.
Next on the itinerary is a visit to the vineyard and vegetable garden, where you can gather the finest seasonal produce.
Finally, you will collaborate in cooking traditional Naxian recipes over a wood fire. This culinary adventure will include preparing a Naxian omelet and an appetizer such as zucchini balls, tzatziki as a dip, savoring Naxian potatoes, sampling a variety of Naxos cheeses, preparing a main dish such as “briam” or “gemista” and enjoying locally produced house wine.

Can’t miss experience in Naxos! - We had a truly wonderful time on the farm tour and cooking class! The entire experience was thoughtfully organized and such a unique way to connect with the local culture. The food we prepared was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, even in the face of a few challenging guests. Their grace and attentiveness made the experience even more enjoyable and relaxing for everyone else.
Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic, hands-on activity with fantastic food and warm hospitality!

100% Recommend - Amazing experience, and wonderful family to host us. They gave a tour of their family farm, and educate us on the common herbs and produce they have. They explain the process of creating olive oil, wine, and much more.
Cooking- They were very helpful and explained the details to make your dish just right.
Eating- amazing food! I was full the entire day. Delicious, many options and they are so gracious with their hosting. Very kind people to sit down and talk to.

The farm tour and cooking... - The farm tour and cooking class were so much fun! It's truly a beautiful way to see Naxos and connect with the culture. Our guide Dina was just the sweetest person and helped you connect with her family traditions and recipes. Good was delicious

Cooking and Dining with New Friends - We enjoyed the cooking and dining the experience the most. Meeting new people and experiencing things with them made this experience well worth it. The farm experience is what you would expect for a farm in Naxos. Learned some interesting things, but I’d say this trip is more for the cooking and dining experience.

Charming countryside of Naxos and its local dishes - We were lucky enough to have a course on olive farming and all the herbs are conducive to wild growth by a sweet, calm and so smiling damsel (Tina) then an outdoor kitchen was waiting for us with everything it takes to cook sitting at our table! We cooked, ate and tasted a house wine, accompanied by cheese and cherry juice.... For me one of the most pleasant experiences to discover the culture of Naxos!! A must for sure!! Thanks to Nikos also 🫶🏻

Captivating experience! - This was an amazing experience. We so enjoyed meeting Nikos Anevlavis and his family and learning to cook in their Naxian traditions. Learning about his family, their farm’s history, the local food, and then cooking a fantastic meal was so captivating! We highly recommend this activity!

True Greek Experience - Visit to Farm + Cooking! - I attended a class with my brother in May 2025. We had a wonderful experience at the farm starting out learning about the animals + crops being grown (olives, potatoes) as well as their own winery. After that, we made a few dishes, including saganaki and zucchini balls, in their beautiful outdoor dining area that overlooks the hills of Melenes. Nick and Tina were fantastic and we learned so much from them. My family is originally from Greece and this was truly an experience that resembles one of visiting a local 'horio' (village) and where you get very close to greek culture. Cannot recommend enough!

Super fun time at the cooking class! - We enjoyed our cooking class very much. It was relaxing and in a beautiful area in the mountains. Enjoyed the family atmosphere and personality of the family that was hosting the tour very much. Great food too!
