John was an excellent driver and guide. - John was an excellent driver and guide, he showed me all around Suva and nearby villages - it was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone.

Excellent tour - John and Ester were amazing. John was extremely knowledgeable about the Fijian Culture and took us to quite a few places we would never normally have seen. We requested to visit an orphanage and they located one and arranged for us to visit. This tour was one of the best days we have had in Suva because coming by cruise ship we are very restricted by time so seeing the “real” Suva is difficult. Thanks guys for a great day!!!

Best shore day spent while crossing the Pacific by ship! - Awesome communication with the company before meeting them...We were without internet for about 10 days prior to our tour date with Peter Kay's people, so were a little concerned about meeting up. Absolutely no problems - They were there at the pier right on time! Our guide, John, was attentive to our (sooo many) questions. We were able to see the sights of the city; the museum; have as much time in the rainforest to hike and swim; and ended the day with an amazing Fijian lunch at the most unique place (suggested by John). It was the best meal of our entire trip, including our on board ship dinners! The best island day of our cross-Pacific cruise. Thank you, Peter and John, for showing us the real side of Fiji!!

Do it, you won’t regret it. - Had a blast hanging out with Peter and learning about the flora and fauna of the nature reserve, and of Fiji in general. Peter goes the extra mile and is engaging and genuinely interested in the people he comes across. Super fun!

Great tour just before Christmas - Had a great tour with my tour guide and driver for almost a whole day. It's not just the sightseeing I found interesting, but also the chitchat with these guys. They have been friendly, supportive, and informative during the whole tour. They can help you to understand Fiji much better in lots of aspects. Even though the tour ought to end at 1 pm normally, we finished our tour around 3:40 pm due to the traffic and our special situation (I need to share my tour with two others as there is a booking overlap I think). These guys have taken a good care of us and have been very cooperative and willing to help all the time. It's just like traveling with friends who actually know stuff. You will enjoy your tour with ease.

There was confusion about... - There was confusion about where I needed to be to get picked up… had to walk out of the port area to meet driver because driver did not have permission to enter that area. Once in the car it was clear that there was no good place to snorkel anywhere near Suva and not even any beaches worth going to to swim. We went to the falls which were a couple of man made areas to catch what might just be run off? Unsure of the water source. These were a short walk through a forested area with path not suitable for people without agility. People were swimming in them and I did go in for a bit to cool off but could have done without the whole bit. We went to the museum and paid extra to go in but this was not worth paying any amount for in my opinion. The only part of the day that was memorable was the souvenir shopping but the checkout lines were extremely long and if you didn’t want souvenirs then this was probably another disappointing stop. Driver was nice and honest about the lack of things to do near Suva and told about other islands where there were beaches and more touristy things to do.

Good guide; tour could have been better - Mass confusion at port pick up; no one with a sign with our name or the company name. Had to ask around to find our contact. Guide was good but the expected itinerary was not followed. Since this was a private tour, we had specified what we wanted to see. However, this itinerary was not viable in the time allowed, so we saw a fraction of what we wanted. We should have been clearly informed ahead of time what the timeframes were so we could have specified our top priorities. Thus, we were disappointed in the few things we were able to see.

Choose not to do a tour BUT tons of tours to be had - As soon as you get off cruiseship you are actually inundated with locals selling their tours from 1-2 hrs and much more. Definitely haggle your costs quoted.

A debacle from start - We chose this tour based on the reviews. I should have looked closer. The best are from 5 years ago. Our entire excursion was a disaster. It was not private; we visited only 1 of the promised sites. I had confirmed pick up at the pier because my husband has very limited mobility because of diabetes related foot problems. Peter met us at the pier but we had to walk 6 blocks in the tropical heat to the car. The car provided did not accommodate 4 adults, a driver and guide. After an hour, a second car was brought but we were separated from our friends. We arrived at the first site, and those who could went on a hike to the waterfalls. This was supposed to be a private tour. Instead, it was several couples in separate cars. Those that couldn't stayed under a large covered area. The hike was scheduled to be 30 minutes. Our bags were locked in the car. When most of the group returned from the hike an additional hike was offered. We were not going but our driver took off with another group leaving us stranded with no way to get in the car for water or snacks. The bathroom was filthy. Toilets didn't flush and seats covered with flies. When he came back over an hour later, he had no idea where to take us. Peter hadn't given him an itinerary. Peter's group had to go rescue our friends who got a flat tire. Peter wouldn't respond to our driver. Then our driver's phone died and he had no charging cable. Peter ghosted me. I have tried to contact the company privately. Not even the courtesy of a reply.

horrible experience - We have completed hundreds of shore excursions for our travel. This was the worst experience we have ever had. They did not communicate. They left us at the port. Do not use this service. There are many reputable companies out there. This is not one of them.
