The falls, the natural pool, and total chill with friendly native kids and adults - Friendly, knowledgeable guide - bilingual French and English. Relaxed pace for us up and down the trail to and from the falls.

Excellent port-day adventure off cruise - Stepped off our cruise ship and met Peter for an amazing day in Suva! Peter's vehicle was extremely clean and comfortable (once I got used to being on the opposite side of the road than the US!). We had a quick jaunt out to the nature park, during which Peter was extremely informative about the area and the local culture and customs. Once we reached the park, we had a pleasant little hike to some gorgeous pools for a dip. We also got there well ahead of the larger tour groups from the ship, so we were able to enjoy our time in the pools uncrowded and unhurried. After our hike, Peter took us to a local market where he was well acquainted with many of the vendors and we were able to sample some products and learn about the local agriculture! After that we requested some good local grub for lunch. Despite being Sunday and most things being closed, Peter found us an excellent spot and joined us for lunch!

Suva day trip - John picked us up at our hotel as arranged. We were very pleased to have a personalised tour of Suva with just the two of us it felt comfortable and relaxed. John was an excellent guide, he had some good stories to tell and was knowledgeable about the area. We felt very safe with his driving in a country where drivers are not always the best.
Since this was our last day in Suva we had actually walked around most of the city so had seen some of the sites that were originally planned for this trip.
John was very accommodating and took us to places that we probably would not have gone otherwise which gave us a really good overview of the city.
What’s the recommend to this company if visiting Suva and wanting to see some of the sites with a local.

Great way to see Suva Highlights - Mike was a fabulous guide - informed, interesting and friendly. Our family had a great day (despite the very rainy weather) exploring the highlights of Suva with him. The bus was huge and brand new and there were only three other familiy groups with us for the first half of the tour.

beautiful island - Beautiful island. We were able to see a lot even though the weather wasn't the best. We saw a beautiful waterfall and other sights on the island.

Water Fall Hike Needs Park Benches - Guides were great. It just a long hike and no park benches to rest on the waterfall tour. Also boards need to be repaired and in some places added for safety.

This tour was not as described - This tour was advertised and sold as a "fully customisable private tour" starting at 1:00pm. We were told someone would be waiting for us with a sign with our last name at the exit of the Suva port. When we reached the exit of the port, we were accosted by dozens of people selling tours and taxi services, but no one with a sign for us. Someone eventually found us and told us she would get us to the tour. She made some phone calls and we were picked up about 20 minutes later by a taxi to take us to the National Forest, where we joined a group tour that had already started. We did not see the waterfall, as the group we joined already saw that. We then got on a bus and drove to a town outside of Suva and visited the market there. We then visited the Fiji Museum before we were taken back to the port. The owner of the tour company was with us and tried to explain that "customizable" means we should have replied to an email sent to us a few days prior to the tour to tell him what we wanted to see on the tour, but no email was received. In all fairness, the tour was interesting and the tour operator was apologetic for the misunderstanding.

Better not! - The excursion was poorly organized, all guides delayed at the meeting point. Waited 20 minutes in the glowing sun at the port exit. The tour was mainly interesting by the additionally booked taxi driver, who was very concerned about us. The young lady in charge of Kay Tours was completely incompetent and only busy with her mobile phone. Had it not been for the waterfall, the 4 hours would have been completely superfluous! Too bad for time and money!

Buyer beware! Not worth the money. So unorganized! Taxi in port better option! - The tour was not as described on Viator. Said it was customizable which it was not. Said it was max of 15 people and we had 26. Very unorganized staff. Not easy to find the staff! Should have a sign or umbrella so you can see them. People were in the wrong bus which I totally could see how that could happen. Its description makes you think it’s private and it is not. There are taxis in the port that do this excursion for a lot less and I believe were better experiences. We met other cruises who took taxis and were pleased. We met other people on this tour who also thought it was customizable and were as disappointed as we were. Some people even left. Viator needs to work with Kay services to get their description if the tour accurate so others are not disappointed.

Not good! - A bad experience for our group of 6. Tour was suppose to be 3 hours long and customizable and private for just the six of us. We had a time limit so we agreed to go with a group on a bigger van. The van was terrible, very dirty with old ripped plastic covers. The windows were dirty. You could not take a picture through the windiows. The air condition did work. As the tour started, Mike, the bus guide, stated the tour would be 5 hours long. We told him we expected 3 hours, so he did agree to get us back to ship in 3 hours, which he did.
The tour took us to the waterfall, which was not what we wanted to do, but was part of the 5 hour tour. We sat on the bus for about 15 minutes waiting for Peter, the tour guide, to show up to lead the waterfall tour. The road to the waterfall was about 2 miles of painful body jarring bumps. Mike the van guide was great. He was best part of tour. When we returned, I looked up tour description we purchased. It was suppose to be 3 hours and suppose to let us tell tour guide where we wanted to go. And suppose to be a private tour. Ester was suppose to be our tour guide. She send information telling us where to meet and to look for a sign with our name on it, we never saw Ester or a sign with it name on it. There was a group who arrived before us who were told they might have to wait 2 hours for their tour. Really, just a disorganized mess. I would not recommend this tour.
