Great snorkeling experience for a family of 3 - We had a great experience with Captain Keith & crew. The boat is in great shape and we got to see a few turtles up close in the first snorkeling spot and also enjoyed the coral reef and fish at the Sea Garden at the second snorkeling spot. The weather had been very windy on the day of our trip and l called Blue Finn Charters 242 with the booking contact details and they were very flexible to reschedule for the following day. The following day, the weather was better and our chances of enjoying the 2 hour trip were much higher. Overall, 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience, it was only my husband, 15 year old daughter and myself on the tour that day and we left Nassau satisfied that we had seen a nice bit of the marine life. As a side note, we had taken another snorkeling / swimming with pigs/ water sports tour a few days before and it was a joke as far as the snorkeling activity was concerned, so if you want to snorkel near Nassau, this is your best bet!

Wonderful day watching the turtles - Four of us - my husband and I plus two people from a cruise - took part in this. To find the dock be sure to walk BEHIND the gas station all the way to the waterfront, and wait at the land end of the dock where there is a bench and a ramp going down to a float. It is not marked, but all the locals know. Our group left late because the group ahead of us returned late - no worries, Captain Chris made sure we still had our full time. Our ride out to the island was fast and fun in his safe open fiberglass-hull boat with twin outboard engines. It had a rear deck making it easy to get in and out of the water. Chris clearly loves the sea turtles and knows them well. He took us directly to them, and gave us good advice about how to best watch them while snorkeling. He helped us in and out of the water, and when the turtles moved he moved the boat so we could keep watching them. He explained about the colorful small fish that appear to have a commensal relationship with the turtles. We had a full, fun hour in the water before we returned to port. Highly recommend.

Great snorkeling adventure - Had a great time. Just the boat captain and his wife along with my wife and I. Saw some great reefs and a sunken ship. The boat was clean and well maintained.

Beautiful snorkeling tour in crystal blue water! - We took a leap of faith going on this excursion with only 1 review but boy, are we glad that we did! The captains were outstanding! We loved the small group and the location they took us to snorkel. They took us on a beautiful, comfortable boat ride through the islands to a snorkeling spot in crystal blue water about 20 mins away. It’s a little confusing finding them - you just walk through the narrow gate on the side of the gas station, go all the way back to the boat docks and you’ll see the captains in/by their boat. No signs, but easy to spot when you get to the dock. There was a little coral in the area they took us (purple and yellow) and some fish (not a ton) but we swam with about 15+ sea turtles. Amazing experience! Worth the trip and we loved the flexibility we had being with such a small crew. 10/10 would book again!

Terrific snorkel tour! - Super fun experience, Capt Keith was kind and knowledgeable, took our group directly to the best spot for fish and many sea turtles. Highly recommend!

Unfortunate Experience - Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience with Bluefinn242. We reserved the snorkeling experience trip 1 month and 20 days prior. The day before the trip we received an email from TripAdvisor confirming it, HOWEVER, later that evening, specifically at 5:45 p.m., we received a phone call/WhatsApp message from Bluefinn242 advising that there were not enough people signed up for the 8:30 a.m. trip, so it was cancelled. To say we were upset is an understatement. What was really disappointing was the short notice we received. Considering we signed up SO early in advance, you think Bluefinn242 would have given us a little more heads up that it was going to be cancelled, and not less than 24 hours. I knew this was a possibility because I read details under "Additional Information", however less than 24 hours is ridiculous and inconsiderate. Even 48 hour notice I could have made other plans with another company. So consider this a warning when booking with Bluefinn242.

DO NOT RENT FROM SPECIAL NEEDS AT SEA - We rented two scooters from Special Needs at Sea for an Alaska cruise. I will not rent from them again. I first noticed the scooters looked unkept with small cracks on seats and slashes on rubber handlebars. One even had used napkins in the basket from a different cruise line. I Let that ride as long as the scooter works. On the second day began to run out of battery. I charged all night while we slept. Had a shore excursion at 1 pm. About 2 hours before the scooter went dead. Put to charge hoping to have enough to go on tour. Got off the ship and as I got to the meeting point scooter went dead. Of course, we had to miss the tour and were refunded on the spot. Somehow made it back to Gangway and stopped completely. The cruise employee had to push the scooter to an electrical outlet and charged enough to get me to the Customer Service desk. There they took my scooter to charge and gave me a temporary one til the next morning. Nex afternoon started will problems again and returned to Guest Services. At that point, they determined the charger itself was defective. They gave me a new charger with a Scootaround sticker and no more issues. Special Needs should have never included a defective battery charger.
