Fishing/Snorkeling - Capt PJ and first mate Jay were great! We had a nice boat ride out to some good fishing spots. Then spent the next part of the day at a popular snorkeling spot.

Outstanding fishing tour - We had a great time fishing with Hunter Charters. We had a larger group than most tours would accommodate and they took great care of us. Everyone had a chance to reel in a fish!

Great first experience! - Awesome experience with captain PJ and First mate Jay, they were truly great to be around. They were very knowledge about the islands and fishing!Communicated very well while deep sea fishing, found one mahi and a bunch of inshore fish. They knew the honey holes, and we took full advantage. We finished our day snorkelling in the reefs and a nice ride back into the channel. Highly recommend!

Relaxing day on the water with Jake and Alex! - Jake and Alex were very kind and you could tell they love what they do! The day was a bit windy and the water was cold so we didn't do much swimming, but the day on the water was really nice. They were willing to go wherever we wanted and we spent the extra $30 per person to go and see the pigs. It was a fun experience, but it's something we would only do one time. There isn't much else to do there and we were glad to be able to see the pigs and then get back on the boat for some fishing. We didn't catch much due to the time of year but it was still a fun experience. The boat was definitely older and showing it's wear, but it worked out fine for our purposes. We loved the experience for meeting Jake and Alex. We probably wouldn't do this again unless it was summer season!

Good Times Fishing - We took 7 people out. Captain Alex and Jake were so nice and very knowledgeable. We had a fish on in the first 60 minutes we barely had the lines in the water. They were very informative and especially accommodating. 10/10 recommend.

Disappointing Experience with Hunter Charters - Our recent excursion with Hunter Charters on their 46' Ocean Yacht left much to be desired, to say the least. The advertised promise of an enjoyable day of fishing, snorkeling, or beaching around Rose Island turned out to be far from reality. Right from the start, our experience was marred by extremely rough waters, making it nearly impossible to enjoy any activity on the boat. The motion sickness was so severe that two members of our group ended up vomiting, and everyone else felt nauseous. Despite our discomfort, communication with the guide was minimal at best. We weren't given any guidance on fishing or any explanation of what to expect during the trip. Moreover, our attempts to engage with the guide about fishing were met with unwelcoming responses. When one of our group tried to prevent a fishing pole from falling over, they were rudely instructed not to touch the fishing gear. Throughout the journey, we felt like unwanted guests on our own excursion. We were ordered to remove our shoes and stay out of the way without any explanation or safety instructions provided. The cabin area, which was supposed to be a place for relaxation, was far from inviting. It was outdated and uncomfortable, with a shabby couch covered in a blanket. Our 10-year-old daughter was scolded for placing her backpack on a cooler, which was deemed unacceptable by the guide. This lack of hospitality and unwelcoming atmosphere only added to our disappointment. Furthermore, the description of the excursion provided the impression that there would be options for activities and that we would have some say in what we wanted to do. However, this was far from the truth. We were simply told that we were deep-sea fishing and that there would be no stops. It felt as though we were merely financing the crew's fishing trip, with little consideration for our preferences or comfort. In the end, unable to endure the rough conditions any longer and frustrated by the lack of flexibility, we requested to return to the dock. Overall, our experience with Hunter Charters fell far short of our expectations, and we would not recommend their services to others seeking an enjoyable marine excursion.
