Great place for safe, fun, and shark viewing dives! - Did my final certification and certified dives at Stuart's Cove! Marion was our instructor and she was a dream. Really great support and great vibes. Felt safe and learned all the essential skills to help me feel safe going down into the ocean!

Great snorkeling experience - This was an amazing experience where we actually got to see and swim near sharks. The reef snorkeling was beautiful. We got back in plenty of time for our Carnival cruise and we were able to go shopping. Thank you to Evan, Jose and Deangelo.

SCUBA, NASSAU, W/STUART'S COVE SCUBA - Did Scuba at Nassau, with Stuart's Cove Scuba, with Cap'n Gabby?, Shannon, and René. We had a ball: reef and murse sharks, 3-5 ft in length, sting ray, remora fish, and barracuda. Even saw a Lion Fish and large grouper. Excellent staff and boat captain!!! Give 'em their bag of Tater chips!!

Two tank dive with Stuart’s cove- dive Bahamas was great. Will definitely dive with this group again. - Fist of all the activity reviewed was the 2 tank scuba dive not the snorkel adventure. It was the only choice to choose from on the drop down menu when reviewing activities. But I was very hesitant on booking this excursion from the cruise line. I am so glad that I took the chance and booked this experience. I met the group at 8:15am just off the ship in the zone 4 area. There were several other divers taking this excursion also so it was good to not be the only one. The drive to the dive shop was about 30 minutes and the driver had us start filling out the paperwork on the ride so that helped pass the time while also streamlining the process to make it quicker at the dive shop. Once at the dive center, we payed for any extra gear needed then proceeded to the gear pick up station. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful to everyone in the group. Once I had my gear along with the group, we were off on the experience. We were on the boat about another 30 minutes until we reached the 1st dive site. The site was along a sea wall and everyone was in the water about 30-35 minutes. There were several different types of fish seen, but not a lot of life along this wall. Still a good dive in my opinion. When everyone was back on board, we headed to the second dive site, called the twin sisters. There are a couple of large ships that were sunk to create a reef/dive location. Here, I seen several lion fish, several types of reef fish, sharks, and a bit of growth on and around the ships. We had 10 divers on this excursion and the dive master was awesome. He gave clear expectations to all the divers and was very observant with the group. As a newer diver, I felt like I had some freedom to move about the wrecks but I never felt the dive master left our view. He checked on each person frequently during the dive. He was around giving pointers and showing where we could see the wildlife. He was helping some with buoyancy issues and showing others observations at the same time. He was very passionate about making sure it was a good experience for the group while marking sure it was also a safe experience. I definitely recommend diving with Stuart’s cove group and would do this again.

Maybe in clear calm weather? - Windy cloudy choppy conditions, low visibility, not that much to see. Water and air quite cold. Wet suits mentioned but definitely were necessary and most didn’t have. Good safety procedures in place.

Sadly climate change has destroyed the coral reefs - not much to see anymore - No fault of Stuart Cove but unfortunately due to the warming of the sea caused by climate change & fossil fuel pollution, frankly it is bleached and now dead. There is little left to see there now. Dead bleached coral reef for the most part. I did this same snorkel half day trip 10 years ago with Stuart Cove when there used to be colourful living coral reefs and was sad how much has now died off and has been destroyed. It was so bad that we didn’t even bother getting into the water at the 2nd stop. No fault of Stuart Cove, the staff and equipment was the best, but the sad reality we face today with climate change is the acidification of the seas and the loss of underwater habitats and biodiversity. The only part of interest was seeing the Reef sharks which involved throwing chum into the water to attract them up to the surface.

Don’t trust the shuttle!! - Shuttle never picked us up! We were exactly where they described, before pickup time and never got a ride. We missed our time to SNUBA/snorkel, and they still charged a cancellation fee. Locals informed me they are overbooking and skipping pickups once the bus is full. Buyer beware, you may need to book your own travel, which can be pricey from Nassau (roughly $100). Ridiculous!

Horrible communication and customer service. - Poor communication. I had questions regarding weather and safety. They didn’t get back to me until after it was too late to cancel. I paid for a trip i didn’t use. I explained my concerns and tried 3 time to contact them through Trip Adviser. They were not apologetic and would not issue a refund.
