- The Bahamas Rum Cake Factory - The Bahamas Rum Cake Factory produces bundt rum cakes in several scrumptious flavors, like Pina Colada, banana, chocolate, and plain pound cake. The cakes are marinated in the famous Ole Nassau Rum, distilled in Nassau on New Providence Island, and they especially go great with ice cream. These cakes are available throughout the island as well as in the departure lounge at the Lynden Pindling International Airport and at Festival Place on Prince George Wharf. They are vacuum packed for shipping and will retain their flavor. You can get a tour of the facilities and free tastings when you visit. Homemade jams and jellies are also available. Hours of operation: Monday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. / Sunday 10:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.

Exit the port through the most western gate. This will be near the straw market. If you should exit before walk toward the straw market. No other bus as beautiful as the Chippie :-). We will be on the side of the port.

Great local tour! - Chippie was a great local tour guide! Real and informative! The stops in Nassau and Paradise Island were great and so were the samples! :)

Best excursion I've ever had in Nassau - New tour in Nassau. Was phenomenal. Everyone on the tour agreed it was the best time they had EVER had in Nassau. I've been to Nassau too many times. But, I will go on the Chippies tour every time now. The guide/owner, Fontella Chipman-Rolle, was SO personable and absolutely lovely. (She's a former Miss Bahamas). She knows everyone in town! Loves her town and the history behind it. We stopped at different places (Queen's Staircase, Atlantis, Bush Tea place, Rum cake, John Watlings). Was an absolutely perfect tour- pickup is at the Straw Market and she will drop you off at the closest Port re-entry gate. The electric open-air vehicle was easy to get in/out of. Her tour is exactly what Nassau has been needing.

Great for teens - Very nice and wonderful tour. Keep our teens engaged. Fun day with our lovely guide. I highly recommend this tour if you want to the main stops in Nassau.

Chippie---The Best! - Well the whole trip was informative and fun, the best part was Chippie herself! It seems everyone on the island was either her family or friend. She was full of sunshine and smiles the whole time.

Fun Experience! - We recently experienced the Chippie tour of the Bahamas, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From start to finish, it was fun and highly informative. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging, providing fascinating insights into the history, culture, and natural beauty of the Bahamas. The open air bus also was nice and allowed for you to see everything. Despite being pressed for time, she went above and beyond to ensure that we made it back safely and on schedule! Would love to come back again!

Fantastic tour and tour guides! - We had a GREAT time on this tour! The amount of time for the tour was perfect to see notable spots all over the island and still have time after the tour for shopping before boarding back on our cruise ship. From trying free samples of local food/drinks to seeing beautiful areas of the island, our group thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The tour guides are fantastic and ready to answer any question about any topic. Would absolutely recommend this tour!!
