From the cruise terminal or your current location, head east on Bay Street. Look for the iconic pink colonial-style buildings with white trim. Keep walking east until you see a light yellow plaza on your left. "Elizabeth on Bay". Walk towards the back and its unit #12 on the left.

BEST excursion in the Bahamas!! - The MOST fun we’ve ever had in the Bahamas!! Ruth was the perfect chef/teacher, lots of fun and informative facts about the Bahamas interspersed with an actual cooking class where we were slicing, dicing, mixing and stirring our own delicious Bahamian meal. Definitely making this when we get home! Ask Ruth, she’ll give you the recipe!!

Cooking class - We absolutely loved our cooking class! Ruth and her spouse were fantastic and entertaining! Our dish was very good as well as the drinks! Highly recommend

Fun and Tasty Cooking Class ! - Had a great time and Ruth was a very fun host to have, she took good care of everyone and it was awesome learning to cook & learn so much about this area and other islands! The food we made was awesome and the drinks too!

Delicious and fun! - Class was on the water and the view was amazing! The chef was very informative and took the time to make sure we did it right. And the food was so good. I was a little unsure of trying conch, but it was delicious.

Conch stew and grits - I had great fun in the Bahamian cooking class! I learned about conch, made conch stew, and grits. Ruth was a wonderful instructor, adding information about the Bahamas during the cooking class. The meal was topped off with a generous slice of rum cake and alcoholic drink.

Shameful behaviour from a company - I didn’t receive any info on the tour. They never gave me a start time. I reached out several times and did not get a response. We walked 2 miles to meeting spot. They message me that they canceled the class 1 hour before it was supposed to start. They said they didn’t have enough people to do the class. We had 4 in our group. Due to it being in the middle of the day, we weren’t able to make other plans and it ruined 1 or our 3 days here in the Bahamas. The worst part is the class is marked as complete and the charges remained and we have not been refunded. This company should not be on Tripadvisor. I expect a refund immediately.

Unreliable - cancelled last minute! - Originally booked for Saturday - then was asked to move to Sunday as they had got their calendar wrong, they confirmed that it was 100% going ahead on Sunday - so we then spent time & effort moving our trip bookings / schedule around to make sure we could definitely do this class, they then cancelled on Sunday morning about 1 hour before it was due to start. Absolutely gutted - first country we've been to where we were unable to do a cooking class, left us with no plans on the day & no time to reschedule & book with a different (more reliable) provider!
