Must Visit For Even the Casual Country Music Fan - For even the casual fan, this is a must-visit attraction. I'm partial to classic country and recent, but even if the 80's and 90's were your thing there is plenty there. I was taken by how large the museum is, plan on at least 3 hours unless you plan to skip exhibits. We got the audio tour, but didn't really use it. The guy spoke too slowly and I can read. There are great interactive and A/V based exhibits so we found the audio track redundant. My wife and I thought it was interesting that some groups we expected to see weren't there, while others featured surprised a bit. I'm not clear on what warrants an exhibit, if you have to be in the Hall of Fame in order to be mentioned? For example, CSN had a nice exhibit but Lynyrd Skynyrd was curiously absent. Both are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but not Country. The Byrds, Elvis, but minimal Haggard and Waylon? Maybe there is a rotation to the exhibits and I shouldn't opine based on a single visit. Five stars regardless, it really is worth seeing. The exhibit tracing the lineage of artists through various groups and influences was fascinating. The building itself is a great piece of architecture.

Great way to see the history of Country Music! - If you're a country fan, this is a must do! It was great reading all the stories and seeing all the history from the early days to today. The museum is laid out well and we never felt rushed. Tip: Get there early!!

Great Museum - My husband and I spent New Year's Eve weekend in Nashville. One of our days there we walked the city and toured the Country Music Hall of Fame. It is definitely worth the visit, especially if you are any type of country music fan. It is a great museum and tells a lot about the history of country music and the stars. Nashville is the home of country music, so this place is a must while you are visiting.

Don't Miss this - Even if You are not a Country Music Fan - This was one of the highlights of our trip to Nashville. Neither of us are country music fans, but you do not have to be in order to enjoy this museum. You may also be surprised as we were to learn what constitutes "country music." In our opinion this was a fantastic and well-curated museum, with plenty for the entire family to enjoy.

A little too confusing but nice - I went to this museum taking a tour with the audio guide. The audio guides are a little inconvenient because as you don't have headphones you have to hold them to your ear like the home phone of the past. The many pieces on display are beautiful but there are too many musical sources at the same time which make it difficult to enjoy the various musical pieces. Ultimately I liked it but with reservations.
