Amazingly kind people - I have never been to a museum run by kinder people. I walked up to this beautiful house and was greeted by a woman watering the flowers. She said she didnt work for the house but to ring the doorbell and she figured someone would come help. Sure enough as soon as i rang the bell the kindest woman answered the door. The ticketing process was easy. And the house itself is absolutely stunning with a great story. Especially during Womens History Month.

Top-notch Antebellum history - This was a great stop! The tour is self guided but they do give you a short introduction. You can see everything in just an hour but it’s the perfect amount of info and history all in one. Great experience!

Love the history! - Actually this was my second time to see the Belmont with my friends. On that visit, we purchased the books written by a local author about Adelicia and the mansion from the gift shop. We loved the tour and the books so much we had to get a second look!

Its a house - The house was cool and the outside was gorgeous. The history was somewhat interesting but it’s not the same as visiting a well known figures house. It’s not a bad stop if you’re a history buff
