Awesome Experience - We had a homely hospitality from our Driver cum guide named Mani
Everything was taken care of with care and attention in a good neat clean vehicle. he was flexible and a good communicator.

My Fuji and surrounds - Mani was a fantastic tour guide and showed us around and told us all about the history of Mt Fuji and the attractions around the area. He told us the best times to be picked up to avoid crowds and get the best views. He picked us up from the hotel and was very friendly and helped take our photos and showed us the best places to see and eat.

Amazing time with Ali! - Ali was the man! Couldn’t imagine seeing Fuji in any other way - he was prompt, funny, and helpful in navigating the many different sites in and around the Fuji area. If you want an affordable and comfortable time for 4-5 guests, choose this tour!

Ali the man - Ali was amazing he was funny and a great photographer. Really knew what he was doing and took photos of us the entire time. Good banter in the car expect a fun day

Worth it - The views were amazing! Highly recommend if you are on the fence, especially on a clear day. Pagoda and Lake Kawaguchiko are a must

We were lucky with the weather - We were lucky with the weather anyway, so got many good pictures. Not so much luck with the driver, he arrived 40 minutes late and barely found his way out from Tokyo. So the tour took a little longer than usual.

Family trip to view Mt. Fuji - Abdul arrived on time and accommodated our requests. He is careful driver and know. The area well. I wish there is better alternative for lunch.

Not really a tour, more like a driver - The views were great and leaving earlier than the time was fine, but there were a few things wrong.
First off, I gave specific instructions for pickup as the location was not a traditional hotel, and the driver totally ignored my instructions. I gave a pin and everything. When I called, he argued with me about my instructions and was going to make us walk 2 blocks with a baby, a stroller and a car seat, plus older tourists. I thought the whole point of a private tour was specifying our exact needs and “attention”.
After we got to the first destination, thinking this was a tour, the guy left us behind and kept leaving us. Mind you my parents are older and slower. I have pictures to prove it.
Didn’t really give us any info about the Pagoda so I ended up looking up the rest of our spots with ChatGPT which at this point, I could’ve driven myself and my family closer and in the comfort of our own car.
The stops were cool. The day ended up pretty beautiful for a Fuji outing, but 100% not recommend unless you just need a driver. Don’t hire this if you want an actual tour. He was a safe driver, got us to and from where we needed to go. And the food he recommended was fine for lunch. He did have good recs for pictures. That’s what keeps it from being a 1-star.

Driver didn't show up - Terrible communication throughout. Finally got a confirmation that we'd be picked up at our hotel a few days before, then after waiting from 7:50am-9:00am we realised we'd been stood up!! Tried contacting the driver and surprisingly had zero response. All Viator could offer was rebooking a new tour with extra cost.
So currently £750 down and still not much response regarding a refund!!
Not great service at all.
