Yasim the best Guide&Driver❤️ - We had the pleasure of spending 6 days on safari across Africa with Yasim as our guide and driver — and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He’s a skilled and responsible driver, always prioritizing our safety and comfort. His calm personality, great sense of humor, and professionalism made the journey even more enjoyable.
We’re especially grateful for how he handled a very tense situation on June 25th, during the protests and unrest in Kenya. While crossing through a difficult area, his composed demeanor and quick thinking got us out safely — even putting himself at risk to protect us.
Thank you, Yasim, for your patience, care, and for making this adventure unforgettable. You were truly the heart of our journey.

Kenya with Yasin, unforgettable! - An unforgettable journey made even more special thanks to Yasin.
He was a friend, a constant but competent presence and always ready to help us even in times of difficulty.
We shared laughter, discovered the wonder of Kenyan nature and culture, and lived days that will remain in the heart. We could not ask for better!

Great experience with Axis! - I just finish my Safari trip with Axis and i can’t express how amazing it is.
Monica has been super helpful and efficiently with all the questions and all the requirements we have.
We choose Khalifa to be our guide and it turns out to be the best we could expect. Khalifa has more than 15 years experience being a Safari guide. You could easily tell about that when he is finding the animals for you. He finds everything, lions, rhino, cheetah, elephants…as long as you could ask, he will just find for you. He did more than enough for our safari trip and I would highly recommend him and his company.

Best provider for an African safari! - What an amazing and exhilarating experience!
From communicating with Tabitha via WhatsApp to leaving our driver Peter at the airport; my bucket list safari dreams were accomplished!
It was lovely to meet Tabitha and the all female head office in Nairobi. From then we met our amazing driver Peter who had so much knowledge and experience! He had a great sense of humour and was so accommodating too. We got so lucky and saw 4/5 of the big 5! This was due to Peters diligence and passion for the job. I loved our accommodations and I would recommend the upgrade to midrange for a comfortable stay as the days can be early and long. Amazing value for money!
I hope to return to Africa in the near future and I’d definitely use Axis again for their Tanzania tours!

Axis Safaris - I’d choose you again! - Gosh… I’m not sure where to start.
This was the first safari that I’ve been on and I am so glad that I chose Axis safaris. From the start, they were clearly the most competitive when it came to prices for a 6 day safari - which was further complemented by their excellent communication, recommendations, and how they can advise/adapt to your needs as well.
They definitely make sure you’re looked after before your trip, when you arrive, and during the duration of your time on the safari or in Kenya! Big shout out to Tabitha who always answered our questions and delivered an unforgettable experience for my wife and I’s first anniversary.
I could write on and on but I’ll try to summarise. The 6 day safari across Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboselli was amazing. Thoroughly loved all 3 places though the visibility at Amboselli of Mount Kilimanjaro was quite limited due to weather but that’s certainly out of the company’s control! I would highly recommend to anyone reading this to book an upgraded stay at all 3 places as it’ll make a big difference in terms of food, showers, and a place to rest after long game drives and travelling.
I’d like to dedicate a special paragraph to our tour guide Peter. We called him Lucky Peter or Passionate Peter because that certainly came across during our whole trip. He always seemed to know the best routes and you can tell he clearly wanted to share his passion and knowledge of animals with the rest of us. We saw unbelievable things such as a Cheetah hunt, lions eating buffalo, lions walking, elephant prides, giraffes and even Craig the famous elephant at Amboselli. It’s quite important to highlight how much a guide can change your experience as many of the groups didn’t see the same things we did after catching up in the hotel restaurants in the evenings. He greatly prides himself in delivering an excellent experience for his group, extremely kind and catering towards our needs, and I’ll genuinely miss him.
Thank you Axis Safaris and Peter. And thank you Kenya!

Definitely recommend. - Jonny the guide was brilliant. Very informative, kind and patient. He was brilliant at knowing the right spots and only through his decisive action did we see a leopard! Only advice would be to take the boat straight to crescent island and walk it yourself with a bit of boat tour rather than just the boat tour. Your only chance to get to walk with the animals you have seen!

Our nice tour guide, Dickson. - It was a very memorable trip. I would like to give special praise to my tour guide, Dickson. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He patiently introduced us to various animals and answered all kinds of questions. We learned a lot. His driving skills were also very good, so we could always get a good angle for shooting. In short, Dickson was a very good tour guide and I enjoyed this trip very much.

The safari tour was a great experience! - The safari tour with Axis was a great experience. We were on the road for 5 days and booked the safari directly on site in Nairobi and were well advised there by Cynthia. The pickup from our hotel worked out well and also very punctually.
We booked a mix of mid-range and budget accommodation. The mid-range hotel "Jambo Lodge" was really nice, clean and with good food and nice staff. The lunch box for on the go was pretty poor though.
However, the two budget hotels in Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha were unfortunately very budget (Extremely ring-eared, so you could almost not sleep. Also the food was not good, especially for vegetarians there was not really a choice, except some rice or potato mash and for breakfast there were only extremely hearty things in both hotels like meat in sauce, rice etc.). So it is worth paying a little more and booking the mid-range accommodation for it.
Our driver, Lawrence, was great. He was always on time, patient and you could tell he had a lot of experience and knew where the animals were staying. He was also able to give us lots of exciting information about the animals and the surrounding area.
We used to leave pretty early in the morning (around 6:30am) and then had lunch between 1pm and 2pm. Approx. 7 hours without food is a bit long, which is why the whole group kept stocking up on home-bought snacks. That is definitely a point that could be improved.
Overall, however, we were very happy with the tour and the organization. Thank you so much!

5 Day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru/Naivasha tour - The game drives were incredible… seeing the big 5 is an experience I’ll never forget. Our driver/guide was Johnny who was brilliant and answered any questions we had during the game drives. We were on the budget option and accommodation was as expected, more than adequate given the price we paid. Lunch and Dinner was very similar each day but portion sizes were good. The logistics were slightly odd such as after the Masai Mara we were passed on to a couple of different drivers and on our penultimate day we were left alone at our hotel at 1pm with no activities planned for the remainder of the day… overall though, for the money paid you can’t really have too many complaints.
