A Dream East African Safari – Seamless, Memorable, and So Well Cared For! - My husband and I recently returned from the most incredible safari through Kenya and Uganda, organized by Kevic Tours, and we can't stop talking about it! From the very start, Felister was outstanding—prompt, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She patiently answered all our questions by email, and when our airline unexpectedly cancelled a flight, she jumped in right away to help fix the problem with minimal inconveniences on our end. We felt so supported even before we landed in Africa. When we arrived in Kenya, Felister welcomed us warmly in person, and we were introduced to our wonderful guides, Shem and Joseph, who took us to the Masai Mara in a big, comfortable Land Rover. We saw lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras, and so much more. Our guides were not only knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife, but also incredibly patient as we stopped for endless photos. One of the biggest highlights was being able to witness the early stages of the Great Migration—thanks to Shem and Joseph knowing exactly where to go, we had front-row views of the animals crossing! Our guides even arranged a last-minute visit to a Maasai village, which gave us a chance to connect with the local culture and learn about traditional practices. It was so meaningful and enriching. The lodges Kevic booked for us were comfortable, welcoming, and had amazing food, with both local and Western options. The staff everywhere made us feel truly pampered—we were treated like royalty throughout our stay. In Uganda, Kevic coordinated the second half of our journey with Exclusive Uganda Safaris, where we were guided by Moses—a skilled, professional driver who made us feel safe and cared for as we traveled from Entebbe to Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi, and finally Kigali. Moses ensured we were fully prepared for both chimpanzee and gorilla trekking, getting us to each destination on time with the right gear and expectations. His calm demeanor and deep knowledge of the area added so much to our experience. This trip offered incredible value for money, and everything felt carefully curated and personal. We genuinely felt pampered, safe, and in expert hands every step of the way. We are so grateful to Felister, Shem, Joseph, and Moses for giving us the adventure of a lifetime. If you’re considering a safari in East Africa, look no further than Kevic Tours. You won’t be disappointed!

Our Stolen Safari with Kevic Tours - 1. Willful Violation of Pre-Booked Terms Despite written confirmations over two months specifying our July 20 stay OUTSIDE Masai Mara to avoid park fees, Kevic Tours deliberately booked Mara Sopa Lodge INSIDE the reserve. 2. Orchestrated "Breakdown" & Double-Fee Trap After entering post-6PM without charging July 20' park fee, guide John fabricated "car trouble" at another park gate near mara sopa lodge and drove us out of the park. Upon return at about 8 p.m., rangers demanded TWO days’ fees (July 20 + 21). This was also we doubted, why we needed to pay 1 day park fee for just lodging in the reserve after 6 p.m.? John lied: "Kevic authorized payment tomorrow." Next morning 5 a.m., Kevic WhatsApp-ed: "You cover extra day’s fee." After repeated discussions, Kevic still irresponsibly insisted that we needed to pay all the extra money, or we won't be allowed in the park. 3. $800 Cash Fraud in Broad Daylight On July 21 morning: John staged another "repair," stranding us outside the park, and then demanded $800 cash for "today’s tickets". Only I agreed to pay and entered the park. At ticket booth: Ranger (after 10-min Swahili talk with John): "No card payments. Pay cash or have your guide advance $200 standard fee – repay him after safari." I agreed to repay John post-transaction... Witnessed John transfered ONLY 4,000 KES ($30) to ranger – stealing $170 of our intended payment. 4. The Stolen Migration I entered at 10:30AM – HOURS after prime crossing time – to find empty riverbanks. The wildebeest crossing (our sole purpose for visiting Kenya) was irrevocably missed due to Kevic’s and John's manufactured delays. No thunder of hooves. No river crossing. Our dream died in John’s manufactured chaos. Awful trip! Save your money and dreams – choose ethical operators!
