Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve by Road
Masai Mara National Reserve - The driver will collect guests from their Nairobi hotel and transport them to the Masai Mara National Reserve. En route, there will be a stop at the Rift Valley Viewpoint to admire the stunning vistas of the Great Rift Valley.
Guests will arrive at the lodge early in the afternoon, check in, and enjoy an early lunch in preparation for an afternoon game drive.
The afternoon game drive promises an exciting exploration of the park’s diverse wildlife and unique landscapes.
After the game drive, guests will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
The Big Five Game Drive
Masai Mara National Reserve - Breakfast will be served early in the morning, followed by departure from the hotel for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. A full-day game drive in the Mara enhances the chances of encountering a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five.
The Masai Mara is renowned for its expansive savannahs, rolling hills, and the Mara River. The reserve is celebrated for its incredible biodiversity, featuring the iconic Big Five. The annual great migration, where wildebeest and other animals traverse the plains, is a major highlight of the reserve.
Around lunchtime, guests will enjoy a picnic lunch near the Mara River, soaking in the riverine atmosphere.
In the evening, guests will return to the lodge to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.
Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park, the “Pink Lake”
Lake Nakuru - After breakfast at the lodge, guests will check out and head to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at Lake Nakuru Sopa Resort in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, a guided game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park awaits. Lake Nakuru is famous for its abundant birdlife, especially the large flocks of pink flamingos along its shores. Besides flamingos, Lake Nakuru National Park is home to a variety of wildlife, including rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and numerous species of water birds. The park’s rhino population, both black and white, is a significant conservation success.
Following the game drive, guests will return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.
From Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park by Road
Amboseli National Park - After breakfast, guests will check out of the hotel and begin their journey to Amboseli National Park, arriving at Kibo Safari Camp in time for lunch.
An afternoon game drive in Amboseli National Park will follow. The park is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and buffalos. A game drive in the park offers the opportunity to view wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
After the game drive, guests will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Early Morning Game Drive, then Breakfast and Check-out, Drive Back to Nairobi
Amboseli National Park - Guests will wake up for an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. After exiting the park, they will return to the lodge for breakfast around 8:30 a.m., then check out of the camp for the onward transfer to Nairobi.
Guests are expected to arrive in Nairobi around 1:00 p.m., where they will be dropped off at their hotel or the airport for their flight home.
