Nara, Kyoto at your own pace - We had a great time on this tour. We experienced feeding the deers, visiting multiple temples and shrines and our guide Mr Reo was very helpful. We recommend this tour for anyone that wants to go at their own pace and rhythm. It was really great to enjoy the sights without having to hurry to a tour bus with other tourists!

Great Kyoto Experience! - Steven was an excellent guide! Knowledgeable and funny! This was a great way to see the Kyoto Highlights in one day! I would definitely recommend.

A great Kyoto and Nara experience. - During a cruise stop in Osaka, I arranged a tour and met our guide, Christine, at the cruise terminal. Without a doubt, this was a fantastic day! We visited several unforgettable places, and Christine provided an outstanding tour, showcasing a variety of memorable sites. For us, the most memorable places were the Kinkaku-ji Temple (Golden Palace), the Todai-ji Temple, and Nara Park. Christine is an extraordinarily knowledgeable and attentive guide who catered to our interests. We plan to return to Japan next April and would not hesitate to book another tour with this company. Hopefully Christine would be our guide.

Fantastic tour and guide - We had a wonderful day with our tour guide Dan and were able to comfortably see Nara and Kyoto's highlights in one day.

A great day in Kyoto - Dave was a vreat driver/ tour guide. He really cared about our happiness. We walked out a temple and it started to rain he was there waiting for us woth 2 umbrellas that he bought. I would definitely recommend Dave.

Great tour! - This was an amazing and magical tour that picked us up and took us to some of the most amazing sites outside of Kyoto. Our guide was extremely pleasant, respectful and knowledgeable. The all day tour was paced just right and separated by a lunch at its midpoint that was very very delicious. Nara, the Todaiji Buddha, the Golden Pagoda and many other sites were really spectacular - highly recommend using this group!

Dan our guide was great.... - Dan our guide was great. Even with bad weather we had a great time exploring and our tour guide made the experience great.

Efficient, friendly, and fun. - Yui was excellent, hit all our spots, and avoided many of the crowds ('secret spots'). Was great having a driver to show us the key spots and take pictures of the whole family. Would book him again.

Overpriced and not worth it - To be honest, this wasn’t worth the price. Prior to the tour we had asked to start earlier (830). The service agreed, yet the driver seemed to know nothing of this and was also late. We started at 10:15. Our driver was a nice woman and spoke perfect English. However, she seemingly had no knowledge of the sights we were visiting (we weren’t looking for a detailed description- just even a basic “this is the site”) and also didn’t seem to have driven to any of the locations before. I understand what we paid for; we saw many locations in a much shorter time period than we would have via public transportation. The air conditioning in the van (which wasn’t an actual tourism van- I think it was her personal car? Quite a few things were broken) was good. But the price for what we received is WAY too high. I would pay $300 to skip the Publix transportation but $1K for poor communication, sub par transportation… not worth it.
