Highlights
- 112 McVicar Road - This trip starts from either your ship or in Napier city, then bus one hour into the heart of the north island. Thie activity is a scenic raft trip down grade 2 rapids whilie listening to bird song. Also included is a narrative on the local history of the area going right back 80 million years, through to pre european times with local maori and into the near past and present. This activity is also great for families with children being able to swim down river and drinking the fresh water all in a safe environment. Grade 2 rapids are fun but small so if you dont wish to get to wet dont jump in. Photos of your trip are available either mailed to you or on our facebook page free of charge. A homemade lunch is provided afterwards before heading back to your ship or to Napier to checkout Art deco buildings. Timewise we like everyone back on board your ship 2 hours before ship departure.
All safety and rafting equipment is supplied, just bring Bathers if you wish, a towel and sunscreen.

Beautiful river tour - This was an amazing and well run tour! Great level 2 rafting experience surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. Great tour company with very knowledgeable guides. Highlight of our trip.

Wonderful Rafting Experience - Deon runs a fantastic rafting company. He was accommodating and easy to work with, even when our cruise ship changed our time in port. He was clear with where he would pick us up and everything ran smoothly. We weren't expecting a cold, gloomy day while we were in Napier, but he had all the gear and clothing we needed to stay warm on the river. He also provided lunch and took pictures throughout our excursion that he emailed to us later. I highly recommend this rafting experience.

Well worth It. Fun to the max - The entire trip!!! Excellent education, fun and wonderful fun guides. The owner was awesome as was his wife who provided lunch!! Even Gluten Free
Graham our “skipper” was marvelous.
All equiptment provided to keep us warm and safe

A must do! - Deon & his Team were fantastic!
We were travelling with kids of all ages from 3-14 and they all had an amazing time.
Deon made sure the older kids had the chance to swim and splash while making the little ones feel safe - highly recommended!!

Book it! - Everything went smoothly! From being picked up at the port, rafting, lunch and returned to Port. Deon and his lovely wife offer a first class experience. We chose the level 2 tour, perfect for someone that has never been rafting. We had a spectacular day, start to finish! Thank you to everyone for giving us a safe, fun day!

Fabulous Day - Deon and his expert guides (we had the pleasure of being on Graham's raft...so fun) are wonderful hosts. Not only are you enraptured by the extreme beauty of your surroundings, but the guides give you interesting facts about nature and tell delightful stories. The rapids are fun (and safe). It was a beautiful, entertaining day. Myself and my group highly recommend this adventure!

Amazing tour, beautiful scenery. - This was an amazing tour, the scenery, rafting for the first time, the weather was also perfect. The guides were amazing, and so were the dogs, we stopped to pick up the guides dog panda which was so fun. Had a small picnic lunch after we finished rafting next to the river and it was amazing. Highly recommended.
