A Great Way to tour Hawke’s Bay Vineyards - The tour staff were very helpful and informative. The bikes were well maintained and made the travelling between vineyards nice and easy. The vineyards were easy to find and offered good wines and a great experience.

Bikes and wine to set yourself free. - The wineries we stopped at were great. Doubtful you could make all six wineries having tastings. Wineries are too slow to service. We had e-bikes and varied terrain. Great biking experience. Te Awanga had good pepperoni pizza. Would do it again.

A beautiful bike hike and wine tour in one. - We had a beautiful and fun time biking around the rural country-side going from winery to winery! We were blessed with great weather as well. Near the last half of the route a river mouth met up with the bay and we saw many great birds, including the Royal spoonbill! Our driver Andy was a great resource and explained the route fairly well- but make sure to pay attention to the route, have a well-charged phone to assist with directions, and bring plenty of sunscreen and a refillable water bottle! We were able to have a glass of wine at 2 wineries and tastings at 2 other wineries for a total of 4 wineries, out of 8 on the route. I would highly recommend the ebike vs standard bike for the assisted pedaling along the many dirt paths and the fairly long route.

Captivating! - Karen coordinated and adjusted plans so we would get back to our ship in good time. Our bus drivers were encouraging and also generous with their time adding "bits and pieces" to share and show us more of the land. The bike tour was breathtakingly beautiful!! Exhilarating and on standard bikes, they gave just enough of a challenge to make it fun. You should do this one!

Gorgeous weather & scenery - Did an e-bike tour with my wife and 15 year old daughter. We got stunning weather which helped. The scenery is really pretty. It was well-organised and the staff were friendly. The bikes were easy to ride (I'm a mediocre cyclist at best!) and were great when there were hills or strong headwinds. We took a "detour" to Craggy Range vineyard where we stopped for wine tasting. Didn't make any other stops and got to the final destination with an hour to spare for a chilled late lunch of delicious pizza (GF options available) on the lawn ahead of a 4pm pickup. The cycle paths were good and there's very little time spent travelling on actual roads (& mostly where the streets are very quiet). Recommended. :)

Napier E-bike & Winery fun, - We did a private Cape e-bike & Winery tour with Roger and had a terrific time from start to finish. We did a fun 15k ride along the shore and through some farmland before stopping for a tasting at Black Barn, lunch/tasting at Craggy Range and a tasting at Te Mata. It was a great combination of stops and Roger was engaging and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this adventure if you are visiting the Hawke’s Bay/Napier area. Note: There was some Cyclone Gabrielle damage in the area but Napier and all of its residents and businesses are open and welcoming guests.
