Additional Information

Embrace the splendid beauty of the Sonoma vineyards with your full senses on an organized cycling trip, touring the local wineries. Leave the car behind, slow down, and discover the wine country from an unrivaled viewpoint - by bicycle! As part of a small group led by an informed local guide, you’ll gain insights into the process from grape to wine. The cycling tours move at a leisurely pace, with only 3 to 5 miles of pedaling between each winery visit. The tour includes a tasteful picnic lunch at one of the wineries, as well as a visit to two wineries, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour/tasting at Vella Cheese factory (not available on Sundays).

  • Minimum age for admission to the winery tasting rooms is 21 years; for this reason, we are unable to accommodate guests under 21 on this tour.
  • Please note: This is a wine-focused tour that includes visiting three wineries. Although wine tasting fees are not included upfront, there is an expectation that guests signing up for this tour will be participating in tastings. This tour is not a good choice for guests with limited interest in wine tasting.

Outstanding biking and wine and cheese tasting day! - Had an amazing day. Our guide James was outstanding. He was patient as we got used to the E-bikes. We couldn’t have ridden all those miles through the area without an E-bike! James was so knowledgeable about the area. He also shared a wealth of knowledge about the wine and cheese making and history of these three locations . Lunch wash delicious and a nice experience while we enjoyed our first wine tasting. The people who we met at all three businesses were so friendly and knowledgeable. Both wineries were unique experiences and the visit to the cheese makers a nice finish to a wonderful day. We highly recommend this company!

Excellent day with Sonoma Valley Bike Tours! - Perfect. James was an outstanding guide and we had the E bike tour to ourselves (cold in January, dress accordingly!) so excellent! The stops for wine tastings are wonderful and the provided lunches ( green salad / caprese salad were so fresh and delicious. The staff and owners at Honrama Cellars are delightful and friendly. It was all day as advertised, we would do it again in a minute!

Celebration tour - My husband and I had a fabulous bike trip celebrating our birthdays and anniversary. Bruce was an excellent guide and showed us so many memorable sights around Sonoma. The wineries we visited were unique and different from each other. The weather was perfect too! We will definitely be back and join Sonoma Adventures for another tour-it was excellent!

Top Notch Service & Great Equipment - We were two families of 4 & we could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. Yuni & Emily were fantastic! We were very nervous about the possibility of being on major roads while hitting two big wineries in the area and they gave us specific instructions on how to get to them via back roads. She Dropped the bikes off and picked them up at our rental house which was extremely convenient. The bikes were all great(we got 4 electric and 4 regular bikes). Highly Recommend them and the Airbnb's they own(The Downtown Sonoma Fafrmhouses-AMAZING!)

Wine and Bikes - SUCH FUN! - Our full day ride on pedal-assist e-bikes was a blast. The office staff was super friendly and our bike guide Jeff was awesome. Great intro to riding and safety and we were off through country roads, cute neighborhoods, and vineyards galore. Timing and pacing were great. Bring lots of money as wine tastings are extra and were $30-35 per person. First stop included wine tasting and a deli picnic lunch at a wine co-op with a very touching family story. Wine was great. Back on bikes to Buena Vista, my personal fave winery for its cool Frenchie ambiance and charm, but not my fave wine. Last stop was yummy cheese tasting and a pop inside the cheese-curing frig at Vella. Overall, a great day biking, chatting, sipping, and tasting. Loved this experience.

Best way to wine taste - This is how the only way I want to do a wine tasting experience. It had everything you could want: gorgeous scenery, fresh air, beautiful bike paths, delicious wines, and a great lunch. The wineries Bruce took us to were awesome and the hosts were very generous with extra pours and making sure we got samples of what each individual liked. The ice cream at Sebastiani and cheese tasting at the end was an added bonus. I’m so glad the Sonoma wine trolley was booked so that we ended up on the bike tour. 10/10

October eBike Birthday Bash - What a great experience! James was an excellent a knowledgable guide, providing wonderfully informative information about the stops along our ebike route. The winery hosts were fantastic, showing us the back side of wine production as well as the family owners' story. The brief stop at a small cheese maker was a great bonus. We cannot imagine how the day coyld have been any better. Thank you SVB!!
