The Sonoma Food Tour provides a guided exploration of local food establishments, conveniently located within the scenic environment of the Sonoma Plaza. Experience authentic flavors of Sonoma, with a variety of regional dishes, Californian Mexican cuisine, local delicacies, cheese, olive oil, chocolates, wine and much more. The tastings are all catered by local restaurants, eateries & shops. As you indulge in the tantalizing selections, enjoy a simultaneous appreciation of Sonoma’s history, culture, and architecture. The Sonoma Food Tour spans over 3 hours, traversing approximately 1.25 miles, and offers a delightful array of tastings that suffice as a wholesome meal.
Please note that the package includes all costs related to food, wine, cocktails, and the local guide. There are no hidden or additional tasting fees.

- Minimum of 4 guests needed to hold the tour. If there are less than 4 guests, the tour will have to be cancelled (sorry) and it will be cancelled “due to bad weather” since Viator does not provide an appropriate reason for the small tour operator to cancel the tour.

Meet at the DEPOT PARK MUSEUM (NOT THE DOWNTOWN PLAZA). Meet your tour guide at the steps of the train caboose between the Depot Museum Parking Lot (Free, All-Day Parking) and the Depot Museum. Please be there 5 minutes before the start of your tour.

Awesome walking tour! - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour! Abby was a wonderful tour guide, offering lots of insight into the history and current offerings around Sonoma Plaza. We tasted delicious cheeses, pastries, olive oil, wine and a Mexican meal!
We recommend this tour when you arrive in Sonoma to get started on your vacation!

Great Way To Spend a Few Hours in Sonoma - Caroline was great!! She was super knowledgeable about the area and had great history to share! The food was delicious and gave us a great experience of Sonoma food. Highly recommend!

Sonoma walking food and history tour. - Our tour guide Abby was great. She was very knowledgeable about the area and her love for Sonoma really showed. We enjoyed the history details along the way.
We loved all of the stops and the people at the shops! Definitely plan to purchase some of the items you sample because they are all delicious. From the cheese, wine, and olive oil it is hard to pick a favorite spot. We were all very full at the end!
I highly recommend this tour.

Great Way to Start Your Exploration of Sonoma A++ - We attended the Sonoma Walking Food, Wine, & History tour on a Saturday at 11am. Caroline Brown was our tour guide. She was full of great smiles, laughter, insightfulness, Sonoma historical knowledge, and wonderful energy! It was a great way to start our 1st full day in Sonoma; providing us with ideas on destinations. Caroline was full of suggestions based on our interests & desires... so helpful! I would recommend this Sonoma Walking Food, Wine & History Tour to everyone.

Great information... - Great information received from our tour guide , but the stops were not good. We stood in an alley at the first stop because the store was too small for the cheese tasting. For the price, I was not impressed with this tour
