Deeply fulfilling experience for mind, body and spirit - Ryo is an exceptional person which makes him A great guide. He loves the land and places he shared with us . I particularly was grateful for his gentle encouragement and patience that helped me to succeed in this mountain hiking challenge. I am almost eighty years old. I did not know if I could walk the pass. Ryo encouraged me the whole time and helped me to Keep saying yes until We succeeded. He took Us to special rest stops and waterfalls. We also began walking through charming old guardian towns and ended in another charming town. We visited a world full of quiet elegant harmonious beauty. Also conversations with Ryo were so satisfying and happy. Ryo knows how to share and listen. He is delightful, light and charming. I recommend this trip with Ryo for his hiking knowledge, knowing the history of the area and for his gentle sweet presence. Ruth Gould- Goodman, Venice CA. USA.

Fantastic tour; highly recommended - Our guide Moto made this trip exceptionally interesting, fun, and memorable. We learned a lot from him about the trail's history and about regional culture. We enjoyed breathtaking mountain views and forested paths, and we savored the delicious meal and special treats Moto introduced along the way.

Wonderful way to walk through history - What a wonderful experience! Harumoto was our tour guide and it was such a treat to have such a knowledgeable person guiding us. He was fun to talk with and was so great with talking with our kids along the way. Our 13 year old had so many questions, and Harumoto was so good at explaining things in a way she was interested in. We would recommend to any of our friends or family.

The Perfect little hike with historical vibes! - We had an amazing tour with Harumoto-san! He was very kind and gave us a lot of interesting information about the history and japan. I can really recommend the tour, as it is really unique and the perfect little hike, without being too exhausting. We came in July and even with the heat very manageable. This place is definitely one of the top places we saw in japan! A big thank you to Harumoto-san again for being such a great guide. We really enjoyed it!

Great experience, something different! - This is one of the loveliest hikes I have ever done! Mom is in her late sixties and was walking slower than average, so we were one to two hours behind the schedule, however we still managed to enjoy lunch and the museums as planned. Our guide Kazuo-san is very experienced and well-prepared with reading materials so we have learnt tonnes throughout the whole journey, I don't think I would know where to look if I had walked this trail on my own. Kazuo-san has also explained and shown us background stories and fun facts of the inns and sceneries, his breadth of knowledge is truly remarkable! Highly recommended, it was an unforgettable day :) Thank you Kazuo-san for making our trip extra special.

Excellent day of walk in Japanese country side - We had a wonderful day with our guide Kazuyo. He is knowledgeable, organized and always willing to help. He prepared a full itinerary for the whole day (for exemple a way to transport our luggage). The walk is beautiful, it has wonderful natural scenery, authentic villages and tea houses. I would highly recommend this.

Kiso Valley - This one-day excursion is certainly to be included in a visit to Japan program We visit the two villages of Tsumago and Magine still characterized by historic wooden houses In the midst of moving between the two locations, a trekking route through the woods and natural waterfalls is recommended
