The Best Way to See Mt Fuji! - Shawn was an amazing guide for our day from Tokyo to see the incredible Mt Fuji! Not only did he keep us well entertained with lots of information on our 2 hour car ride, he took us to the best viewing spots off the beaten path and away from the crowds. The highlight of our time with him was the great bbq in the woods alongside Lake Motosu with a beautiful view of the north side of Mt. Fuji. We got to grill most of it ourselves and it was delicious! Another added bonus was a festival of pink flowers and fresh ice cream from a local dairy. This is the only way to do Mt. Fuji and no one knows it better than Shawn!

Perfect Fuji Tour and Amazing Guide! - Shawn is the man! We wanted to check out Mt. Fuji during our stay in Tokyo, but got overwhelmed with all the public transit options and decided to look for a local to drive us and show us the area. This was by far one of the best choices we made during the whole trip! Shawn contacted us a few days before to check in and let us know about weather conditions on our booked day. He was right on time at the pick up point and no problem to find. We had a smooth ride out to the Mt Fuji area - after experiencing the packed Japanese train system for the first time it was kind of a relief to have a quiet car to ourselves. Shawn was super fun to chat with (fully fluent in English for any folks nervous about potential language barriers). He gave us plenty of options about places we could go in the area, but ultimately we left it up to him to select the best sights. He took us to an amazing observation deck, several sight-seeing spots to get pictures of Mt Fuji from different vantage points, we had a delicious lunch at an adorable local restaurant, and he even drove us well out of the way to go see the most amazing patch of fully bloomed cherry blossoms (well ahead of season and basically the only fully bloomed patch we saw the whole trip). The drive back was a beautiful scenic route through the mountains complete with wild monkey sightings - something we would have never gotten to see on our own. We never felt rushed and he timed it perfectly so that we arrived back in Nakano right on schedule. Having a day where someone else handled the transportation, planning, and communication was an amazing break in a hectic trip. Everything was beautiful and Shawn took so many amazing photos for us! It was truly one of our favorite days in Japan. Don't waste your time getting lost on public transport or sweating it out on a packed sightseeing bus, this experience is worth every penny. Thanks so much to Shawn for making it such a special day for us - we will definitely be booking again the next time we visit!

Great English speaking tour - This was one of the best experiences we had during our trip to Japan, Shawn spoke fantastic English and gave us many tips and tricks as well as information about the area we were staying in. We got to see great sites, and everything was tailored to us. He was very attentive, always checking if we needed a rest or stop off. The passion he has for his job is incredible, constantly checking in to find the best view of Mount fuji.

The only Mt. Fuji tour you need - Mt. Fuji has many faces and Shawn is the man to show you all of them! He adapted the schedule on the fly for us, based on what we'd like to see and what was available; for us, that included a visit to shibazakura festival, since the fields were in bloom. He's extremely nice, knowledgeable and he took many great photos along the way!

Perfect tour to see the best nature sights in one day- great food and photos too! - Our tour with Shawn was exactly what we wanted- it felt like a good friend showing us around the best places, with expert knowledge of how to navigate around to avoid crowds and touristy spots. Shawn clearly has a passion for travel, food, and photography- the pictures he took of us are amazing!! And the lunch was so delicious, including my husband’s who is vegan. It was so fun to cook on the grill by the lake. Shawn was always so thoughtful and checking in with us on anything we needed, like bathrooms or specific things we wanted to see. Amazing Tour!! - One of the best experiences we've ever had! Shawn is an amazing guide, he was very attentive and took us to see some amazing views of Mount Fuji were it wasn't so busy and then took us to see the waterfalls. He also made us Lunch over looking over Mount Fuji, which was delicious and the views were stunning! Shawn took so much care to make sure everything was perfect and that we had a good day, there was no rushing we could take as much time as we wanted in each place, Honestly we couldn't recommend this tour enough! Thank you Shawn for such a good day it is the highlight of our trip to Japan!

Bbq date with Fuji-San - Highly recommended. A private tour to see Fuji-San is the best way to go. Shawn was very knowledgeable, a great photographer, world traveler and provided a great bbq setup. This tour made my trip to Japan more memorable. I loved the drive around Mt. Fuji; taking in the beautiful sights without the crowds. Thanks, Shogo for an awesome day!
