Great for first visit - On our first trip to Hokkaido we decided to arrange a private tour to see some of the important sites. We had two days, one guided to Otaru and one non-guided to Furano Biei. We were fortunate that Igoshi Hayate was our driver both days. He was very pleasant and efficient and he always found the best parking places. He took us to two flower farms, Blue pond, Shirohige Falls and the Rice field art. I didn't think we would have time for all of them but he made it happen. We had a very quick lunch and didn't stay long at a couple of places so we could maximize our time but it was worth it. Definitely want to make another trip to Hokkaido next spring and revisit some of our favorite places. It being summer there were dozens of tour buses and very crowded but well worth the visit. Highly recommend booking with Japan Guide Agency and hope you get Igoshi-san as your driver.

Great driving tour of Biei and Furano! - We had a great time with this tour to Biei & Furano. Our driver Takeshi was great at taking us around from Sapporo to Biei and Furano. He even improved upon our original trip plans due to the season and time of year. I would highly recommend this tour to Furano and Biei since it is very hard to get around on your own in these areas without a car. Public transporation in Furano and Biei is very limited, making it difficult to travel around in these areas.

Furano day trip - We had an amazing time despite an initial mishap. A rock cracked the side window of our Toyota Alphard so our driver had to stop and contact his agency. They immediately scrambled another driver to the scene to replace him for the rest of the tour. Our second driver, Takeshi Sagisaka-san spoke English like a native speaker, shared his very deep knowledge of Hokkaido, and even recommended sites not on our itinerary. We were not expecting a tour guide, only a driver, but he delivered both with professionalism and friendliness. He even offered to add an additional 2 hours to the tour due to the initial delay but we did not need it. On the way back to Sapporo he also gave us dinner recommendations. It was a great day on tour thanks to Sagisaka-san! Side note the Toyota Alphard is also an amazingly accommodating vehicle with a ton of comfort features perfect for tours. Overall highly impressed!

Fantastic - Fantastic gardens. Excellent driver. The gardens and blue pond was excellent. Not in season now, so no full bloom, but very little crowd. Had the place to ourselves. Driver was outstanding

For those who want to see the flowerscape, July or summer is the best time - It was not the time when flowers are in full bloom when we went in May. We should have gone in July when according to locals the flowers in the Tomita Farm are in full bloom
