Visitors will also enjoy a view of Mount Longonot, a volcanic mountain with a crater at its summit. The drive continues down the Rift Valley for another hour towards Lake Naivasha, where Hell’s Gate National Park is located. The area is known for its rose flower cultivation, and numerous greenhouses can be seen. Upon arrival at the park entrance, guests can prepare their bikes and start cycling through the park. Along the way, they will encounter giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and gazelles grazing on either side of the road as they ride towards the gorge area.
- Lake Naivasha - Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake situated in Kenya, near the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, northwest of Nairobi. It is part of the Great Rift Valley. Visitors can enjoy a motorboat ride on Lake Naivasha, observing hippos and various bird species, including the fish eagle.

Hell’s Gate National Park, which inspired the animators of Disney’s The Lion King, spans approximately 26 square miles (68.25 square kilometers). It is named after a gap in the red-hued cliffs, sculpted by the waters of an ancient lake. This is the only park in East Africa where visitors can leave their safari vehicles and explore on foot.

Book with this company - Frank and Dismus were very friendly, patient and accommodating. They made the experience 10x better. I would definitely book with this company. Also affordable rates too. Lastly the bike tour was adventurous while the boat ride was scenic. And Frank came off as knowledgeable.

Great day trip from Nairobi - This was overall a great experience. Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate are both well worth visiting. Combining both in a single day trip from Nairobi is a little rushed, but the tour allocates time as well as possible. We were able to see lots of animals and some beautiful landscapes. Our driver/guide Meshack was very communicative, drove safely, provided interesting information, and was overall very friendly. The restaurant for lunch was very nice with a large menu of delicious food and reasonable prices.

Drive to Lake Naivasha... - Drive to Lake Naivasha with Josh. Went on a boat safari with guide Ben and saw land animals as well as birds such as the sea eagle and pelican. We then went to Hells Gate and took the option to hire electric bikes (3000 Kay) but well worth it. No protective cycle helmets are provided. We were guided along the gorge by a local guide who was very knowledgeable. Back for a late lunch we had preordered in the morning, then the 2 hour drive back to Nairobi

Amazing tour for great value - We had a great time with our guide Douglas who was professional and very knowledgeable. He was always ready to answer any of our questions and we shared some laughs. Overall, we were well taken care of. We highly recommend to visit Lake Naivasha which was the highlight of our day.

Wonderful tour of Hell’s Gate and Lake Naivasha - I had a wonderful tour of Hell’s Gate by Calvin, beginning with beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley, then cycling through the amazing scenic route in Hell’s Gate National Park, and concluding with a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. It was a fun filled day with many activities. The two hour ride in his car was comfortable and enjoyed learning about the interesting information he shared along the way. Overall, a great visit and highly recommend!

I'll do it again 😁 - I enjoyed my tour, the guides were very helpful and had a sense of responsibility which I'm grateful for. I leaned a lot about the rift valley, mount Longonot, the Masaai giraffes, the Gorge and how to ride a bike😋.

Great day! - Amazing guided tour! Everything was well-organized, from Lake Naivasha to Hell’s Gate. Our two guides Frank e Disman were absolutely lovely and super helpful throughout the whole day. They really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour - Incredible experience with fantastic guides. Calvin is an exceptional guide and driver, which is crucial given the risky route to the park. Basic fitness level is required to bike. Highly recommended.
