Nairobi National Park Game Drive - Begin your safari with a pickup from the hotel or airport. This tour takes you to a unique wildlife sanctuary just 7 km from Nairobi’s bustling city center, offering a chance to see 4 of the Big 5 (excluding the elephant) against the backdrop of the city’s skyscrapers. Nairobi National Park, Kenya’s first national park, is a remarkable and pristine wildlife haven within view of the city’s skyline. You can spot rhinos, buffaloes, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, lions, and numerous antelopes and gazelles roaming the open plains, highland forests, and stretches of broken bush country, deep rocky valleys, and gorges with scrub and long grass. Bird enthusiasts can enjoy over 300 bird species, including the Secretary bird, crowned cranes, and vultures.

Giraffe Centre - Next, you will be driven to the Giraffe Centre, where you will learn about the conservation efforts to protect an endangered species. The center’s primary goal is to safeguard and assist in the breeding of the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. Under professional supervision, you can feed the giraffes from a raised observation platform, allowing visitors to meet the giraffes at eye level. The center also features a large auditorium where visitors can attend talks on giraffe conservation and various activities the center is involved in.

Bomas of Kenya - You will be taken out for lunch (at your own expense) at the Courtyard Kitchen, Cultiva Farm Kenya, or a similar restaurant, followed by entry into the auditorium for cultural dances. The tribal cultural shows occur daily from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, showcasing tribal talent in music, dance, theatre/drama, fashion shows, poetry/recitals, and comedies. If you are interested in Kenyan culture or simply want an afternoon of African entertainment, this day trip, which concludes with a return to your hotel or residence in Nairobi, is not to be missed!
