Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - At 7:00 AM, the operator will pick you up from your hotel or residence within Nairobi CBD to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. The drive includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, offering a stunning view of the valley floor. Lunch will be a picnic along the way. In the afternoon, after checking in, you will embark on a game drive.

The Masai Mara is one of Africa’s most renowned parks, offering excellent wildlife viewing year-round. The grassy plains and consistent rainfall support a vast population of herbivores, attracting numerous predators. All three big cats are relatively easy to spot. The annual wildebeest migration through the park is one of the world’s most incredible wildlife spectacles.

Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Spend the entire day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. Enjoy picnic lunches in the Reserve as you admire the Mara’s beauty along the banks of the Mara River.

The Mara hosts perhaps the most spectacular natural event: the great migration. This annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) is in search of water and pasture. Following them are the savanna’s predators – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Depart Maasai Mara to Nakuru

Lake Nakuru National Park - After an early breakfast, with an optional visit to a Masai village, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying a picnic lunch en route. Arrive in the evening.
Lake Nakuru is home to large populations of Greater and Lesser Flamingoes, white and black rhinos, buffalos, lions, zebras, gazelles, the rare long-eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkeys, rock hyraxes, hippos, leopards, waterbucks, impalas, gazelles, striped hyenas, bat-eared foxes, wild cats, reedbucks, golden cats, warthogs, baboons, and over 450 species of terrestrial and water birds.

Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha

Lake Nakuru National Park - Enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its flamingoes and as a sanctuary for both the endangered white and black rhinos. Witness the fascinating interactions of water-dwelling animals like buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos. View these from the baboon cliff viewpoint and engage with the baboons. A picnic lunch will be provided. Later, travel to Naivasha for dinner and an overnight stay.

Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

Lake Naivasha - After an early breakfast, proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can visit the Geothermal Power Plant in Ol Karia and the Hot Springs. This is the only park that allows walking and cycling. An optional visit to Crescent Island for a boat ride to observe hippos and other wildlife is available. After lunch, depart for Amboseli National Park, arriving in the evening.

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park - After breakfast, spend the entire day in Amboseli National Park, enjoying the area’s highlights. You will have the chance to view Mt. Kilimanjaro and take an optional tour of a Maasai village to learn about their traditional lifestyle. Meals and overnight accommodation will be at the camp.

Amboseli National Park to Nairobi

Nairobi - After breakfast, leave the camp for a final game drive in the park before departing for Nairobi. A picnic lunch will be served along the way, concluding your tour.
