Highlights

NAIROBI – MASAI MARA

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Our team will arrange your pickup from either the airport or your Nairobi hotel and transfer you to our office, where you’ll meet your driver-guide and other group members. Depart for Masai Mara game reserve between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM, with the first stop at the viewpoint to see the Great Rift Valley escarpment wall. After descending the escarpment, continue to Narok town for an early lunch. You’ll arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp around 3:00 PM, check in, and then go on an evening game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

MASAI MARA GAME VIEWING

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast at the camp, depart before 8:00 AM with a packed lunch for an extensive 8-hour game viewing. The Masai Mara has the highest number of different species, and you’ll likely see hundreds of them. A game drive to the Mara River is a must; if it’s migration time, you’ll witness it, otherwise, you’ll see crocodiles and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue the game drive until 5:00 PM. Afterward, you can relax at the camp, take a nature walk with Masai warriors, or visit a Maasai village. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

MASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU

Lake Nakuru National Park - Start with an early morning game drive from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, then return to the camp for a full breakfast. Check out and leave Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru, with lunch en route. You’ll see Mount Longonot and have the option for an activity at Lake Naivasha if interested. Arrive in Nakuru Town in the evening and check in at Citymax Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

LAKE NAKURU – LAKE NAIVASHA

Lake Naivasha - After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Lake Nakuru, famous for its endangered species like rhinos and flamingos. Although flamingo numbers can vary, you’re guaranteed to see rhinos among other Big Five animals. Lake Nakuru is a small park, and within 4 hours, you’ll have seen plenty. Leave the park with lunch en route and drive to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, check in at Naivasha Hotel and spend the evening at leisure, either visiting Naivasha floral farms or the lake shore.

NAIVASHA {HELL’S GATE} – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Amboseli National Park - After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Hell’s Gate for a game drive. This is the only park where you can walk inside as there are no predators. You can choose to do the game drive with a safari vehicle or hire a bicycle to cycle 11 km down to the gorge. At the gorge, a guide will share information about the rock layers. Later, drive or cycle back to the gate, leave Naivasha with lunch en route, and drive to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, proceed directly to Amboseli Kimana Camp or similar for dinner and overnight stay.

AMBOSELI FULL DAY

Amboseli National Park - After breakfast at the camp, leave with a picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing. Enjoy your picnic lunch at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro and continue the game drive until 5:00 PM. You’ll see the famous Jumbo elephants of Amboseli among other great animals. Later, return to the camp for optional activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp or similar.

AMBOSELI – NAMANGA BORDER – ARUSHA

Arusha - Early in the morning, have a cup of tea or coffee, then proceed for a morning game drive to enjoy the sunrise and take great pictures. After two nights in Amboseli, you’re likely to have seen Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. Return to the camp for a full breakfast between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM, check out, and drive to the Namanga border to catch the shuttle bus to Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Arusha Stereo Hotel for a bed and breakfast stay.

ARUSHA – LAKE MANYARA

Lake Manyara National Park - After a briefing about the safari by the Absolute Holiday Safaris team, meet your driver-guide and other group members, then depart Arusha for Lake Manyara. Upon arrival, check in and choose to either have an early lunch or proceed for a game drive with a packed lunch. Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, hosting thousands of animal species. Track the tree-climbing lions and view the flocks of flamingos before returning to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

LAKE MANYARA – SERENGETI

Serengeti National Park - Located in northern Tanzania, Serengeti is renowned for the massive annual migration of wildebeest and zebras in search of new grazing areas. Some cross the crocodile-infested Grumeti River, while others veer northeast to Lobo Hills, home to black rhinos and black eagles. After an early breakfast at your Panorama camp, meet the guide and depart Lake Manyara for Serengeti, arriving in time for lunch. After a short rest, go on an afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp or similar.

SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CRATER

Ngorongoro Crater - Start with an early morning game drive at 6:30 AM or have breakfast and then go for a game drive. Track the various animals that inhabit the park. Between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, leave Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge Museum to Ngorongoro Conservancy Area. Arrive at Ngorongoro in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Simba Camp or similar.

NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA

Arusha - After breakfast at the camp, leave for a 6-hour game drive at the crater. Ngorongoro is a conservancy, and all vehicles are allowed to spend only 6 hours as per the Tanzania Ministry of Tourism regulations. Descend the crater for game viewing; this is one of the seven wonders, and you’ll surely enjoy the experience. Ngorongoro hosts the remaining few black rhinos among thousands of other animals. Have a picnic lunch at the crater rim, then ascend to the gate and drive back to Arusha. Drop off at Kilimanjaro Airport.
