The Call of the Wild: A Journey Begins

As a wildlife photographer with a deep-seated love for Africa, the allure of the 11-Day Wildebeest Migration Safari was irresistible. The promise of witnessing the great migration across the Serengeti and Maasai Mara, coupled with the chance to explore the Ngorongoro Crater and other iconic parks, was a siren call I couldn’t ignore. Arriving in Nairobi, I was filled with anticipation, eager to capture the raw beauty of the landscapes and the majestic creatures that call this part of the world home.

From the moment I was picked up at the airport, the journey was seamless. Our guide, Peter, was a fountain of knowledge and enthusiasm, his passion for the wildlife and landscapes infectious. As we traveled from the bustling city to the heart of the Maasai Mara, the transition from urban to wild was palpable.
