Definite Trip - This experience was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. The activities were so much fun, the instructors were kind, clear, and full of good energy. The whole vibe—from the peaceful scenery to the food and the way everything was explained—made the day feel special. What really stood out to me was the purpose behind the camp. It’s not just about seeing elephants; it’s about understanding them, caring for them, and learning about their personalities. These animals are clearly loved and well taken care of. It’s a beautiful way to enjoy time with them while actually doing something meaningful. Definitely a must-do in Samui!

Lovely elephant sanctuary in rural area - Such a lovely place away from the city in the rural area of Koh Samui. The elephants are treated well here & are mostly roaming free in nature. The tour was ethically done, no intense contact with the tourists & not forced.

I loved feeding the elephants, preparing their meals, walking around them.
Here they are happy and well cared for.
Very welcome and support of English speaking guides, I learned a lot. There's shade to protect yourself. Congratulations to all and I will return with pleasure to see the future baby elephant!

A perfect trip - What a nice experience, after being picked up from our hotel one of the guides starts with an explanation of how and why this shelter exists and what they do with the elephants here.
The elephants come from all over Thailand and have a nice stay here.
After this we prepared food and fed the elephants. After dinner a walk with the elephants to the edge of the jungle to roam freely.
The elephants take a mud bath here and then return to the main building where we are allowed to rinse them with a water hose.
The special thing about this shelter is the welfare of the animals which is paramount. Only touching when feeding is allowed. Otherwise, just keep enough distance.
Also the meal that was still served was of fine quality.
As a present, a link was sent of film recordings made this afternoon for free download.
All in all highly recommended to come here for a nice experience.

Amazing experience - We had a great morning at the Samui Elephant home.
All the staff were lovely and friendly
The experience was very informative
We got to learn about and interact with the elephants in a fun but respectful way.
Facilities were excellent
The lunch they provided delicious

"A loving, unforgettable elephant experience!" - Visiting the Sume Island Elephant House is the highlight of my trip to Sume Island. From the beginning to the end, the team has shown sincere care for these majestic animals, putting their well-being first. There is no riding here, no performance – only respectful interaction in the natural forest shelter.
We prepared healthy snacks for elephants (fresh bananas and candy), fed them on their own and accompanied them to walk freely in the jungle. Guides are knowledgeable and share the warm stories of each elephant being rescued. It was pure joy to watch them bath in the mud pool and play in the river!

What a wonderful experience! - The elephants are clearly well cared for, and the visitor program is both interactive and thoughtfully designed. The caretakers are passionate about their work and happy to answer any questions.
