Tour of Charleston - Charleston was a great trip to see. Great history of Charleston the carriage ride was fun and informative. Buildings and homes are beautiful. The smell of Jasmine down many streets was delicious. And the boat ride was very informative. Boone plantation Was very informative and interesting history. The driver of the bus was informative and got us to all of our spots was very pleasant. Would recommend to others.

Great Day in Charleston - The guide and horse were excellent. The guide's name is Carol and she is very outgoing and knowledgeable. The only complaint we have is that we did not see more of downtown Charleston but that is not their fault. They have too draw a bingo ball to see which route of five that they can go on. This is determined by the city.

Definitely worth doing! - After a very rocky start booking, figuring out where to catch the bus, including being told a later time for pickup - we would have missed the bus except for an additional talk with someone from the company…it was a very good experience. The bus driver was very helpful and friendly. She let my husband follow the bus to a free spot to park which saved us a lot of money! We thoroughly enjoyed the horse and carriage ride. Even had a few minutes to shop. We had no idea what to expect at the Boone plantation. It was very interesting. We could have stayed longer. Great destination for a future trip maybe. Most tours include a bottle of water on the bus. This did not so bring your own. You can leave things on the bus during the day. That was great. We needed light jackets earlier in the day but not later. Great trip!

Nice way to see a little bit of Charleston - Really enjoyed the carriage ride. We had a good driver/guide by the name Hunter. He provided a great deal of history of the town with a little humor added. The Boone Hall plantation has beautiful gardens and the property is well kept. We had a nice visit and enjoyed the house tour with the history of the place. The harbor tour could be improved by sharing more about the area. Not much history or information about the area was shared. Our bus driver was very sweet and was very helpful in driving us to and from Charleston. Nice day overall.

Myrtle Beach to Charleston, Boone Hall tour - It was great having transportation to and from Charleston and we had a great driver! We had a brief tour of Charleston on a smaller bus, would have preferred that be a little longer and less time at Boone Hall. We had a lot of down time at Boone and the no see-um bugs were relentless biting, with nowhere to sit but outdoors to wait out the bus return. 2 hours would be sufficient I think fur this particular tour. We had about 2 hours to roam and shop in the market area, also very much appreciated. We were picked up outside our hotel at 6:30 am, the first pick-up, south end. Left Myrtle around 7:00am and returned around 6:00 pm, but we were first to be dropped off because of traffic on the backwards route. The tour guides were excellent. You do need cash for tipping: the bus driver to and from Charleston, the Charleston tour guide, the Boone Hall main house tour guide, and any other tours you take.

Pretty disappointing overall - We travel quite a bit and here are our feelings on this trip: First things first, the driver was very nice, happy & competent. But this bus ride was merely a ride, there was no storytelling or points of interest noted. It was a long, quiet bus ride. * When putting people on a bus for 5 hours nowadays, the option to charge devices is almost a necessity. Our bus did not have charging ports or outlets. * After completing the carriage ride, I am uncertain as to whether Charleston is depressed and not very pretty or if we drew the wrong “bingo” card that the city uses to regulate the # of horses on any given street. Due to a traffic accident tying up traffic on our way into town (out of anyone’s control, of course) we had fewer than 10 minutes in City Market. This was very disappointing, as it looked interesting, and I would have spent money. While the crew members of the boat were all kind & helpful, the boat ride itself was just a short trip to “view” (not visit) Fort Sumpter. We had beautiful weather, but perhaps there is another activity that would be more interesting. And Boone Farm - we had FAR too much time there. The house tour, which consisted of three rooms, was very short. The house itself is newer than our house, not a plantation from the past. The majority of our group was finished “self-touring” and just sitting around for a good 45 minutes at the minimum - time that could have been spent at City Market. All in all, for the price (nearly $400 for a couple) this trip fell VERY short of the mark. I would not recommend to friends or family.

Poor service by Viator's - The Visitor company scheduled and confirmed a Tour on Monday, a day the Tour doesn't go. So sat around waiting for the Bus that wasn't going to show. Poor on Viator's part.
