Highlights
  • Mykonian Spiti Traditional Farm A - This activity is a combination of a traditional baking class and an experience of the traditional animal and organic farming of a Mykonian Farm. We will focus on mastering the fundamentals as well as discussing traditional techniques as we practice making our bread on our wood oven.
The activity takes place at the Mykonian Farm, where you must arrive just after 9:00am. You will be taken to a specially arranged spot in order to start our baking lesson and specifically with the kneading of the bread dough, an approximately 1-hour process. When we have finished, the dough is left to rest for approx. 45’, during which time our farm tour takes place. By the time we finish, it will be time to continue with our baking lesson and to shape the bread into its final form.
When the baking process comes to an end, you will first taste your freshly baked bread and enjoy the outcome of your lesson. Brunch will be served with all the dishes made of genuine pure Mykonian products.

Wonderful experience with friendly guide - The tour was well organized from top to bottom. We were on a cruise and they picked us up from the port. The driver was very friendly. The farm is a fifteen minute drive from the port not including picking up other participants. Once we were there, both the guide and the cook were very friendly. Because we were in the off-season it was just us and one other couple which meant a lot of opportunities to participate. The farm was beautiful and the meal we made was wonderful. I can’t recommend this tour enough for anyone looking to do something a little different on their visit to Mykonos

Mikey likes clickey clickey. - Went for my birthday with my cousin. It was a very breezy day but the surroundings protected us getting a flour shower. The host sat with us over donuts and Greek coffee. Very charming and interesting. Mikey, our baker, speaks very little English, but was able to clearly communicate each step with pantomimes, examples, and sheer will of force. We made three items, and then sat in the shade to eat them. Generous carafes of wine were presented.

Yum! - We really enjoyed our afternoon at the Mykonian Farm and Bakery Class. We chatted with our host and guests, toured the farm, met the animals up close and personal and loved seeing how a traditional Greek meal including homemade bread came together for us to enjoy.

Great experience - It was a super experience for myself and my 8-year-old grandson. He was able to mix and knead the dough and make himself a little pizza. The chef was kind. The in-house translator, Mohammed, showed us the farm and the animals. He was very intelligent and wise; I enjoyed talking to him.

Best Honeymoon Activity on Mykonos - My wife and I both agree - best part of our time on Mykonos during our honeymoon. We were welcomed with a drink and immediately felt at home with their family. We made dough, then toured the farm. We saw all their animals, fed some goats, then went on a hunt for fresh ingredients to make pizza. After we made our heart shaped pizza, we sat down to eat all the food we got to make (and somehow found room for it all). Lots of pizza, wine, bread, and laughter during our time on the farm. We also learned a lot about Greek food and culture which was a nice conversation that you don’t get in the usual tourist activities. Absolutely a must-do activity, especially for a couple!!

Amazing day!! Well worth your time! - This was an amazing experience. Mouhammad and Mike were incredible. Not only did we learn how to make bread, but we also used the dough to make bruschetta, pizza, and cheese pie with egg. From arriving and being presented with a special “welcome drink”, the day kept getting better. Not only did we eat all the delicacies we created, but we also got to interact with the animals, and tour the vineyards. It was exceptional!!! Kathy, Kim, and RoseAnn. Secaucus, NJ

Fun time on the farm - This was a lot of fun! It was our family and a grandmother and grandson. The bread making portion was fun to watch. They made the kids(teens) do it. The food was amazing. With our bread dough we made pizza and a stuffed bread loaf. If you had never made bread or pasta before this was a good learning experience, but my husband and I make bread at home a lot. The farm was very small but it was fun to feed the goats. The farm is growing! We got to see were they were budling stalls for sheep and chickens. They are also talking about putting in a coffee shop. This place is very interesting and I would like to go back and see it when it is done. One reviewer wrote that it smelled bad because of the animals. In the area that you drink your wine, eat and make the bread you cannot smell the animals. However, remember you are on a farm so you should expect some of that.

Fascinating experience. - Me and my girlfriend took a baking class at the farm. The chef was lovely and we really enjoyed learning how to make traditional mykonian bread. Muhammad was also really polite and helpful, taking pictures for us and made our visit really comfortable. We loved it!
