Museum of Ice Cream Austin

Biggest joke. Definitely not a museum. Not worth the price. Germ infestation. Do not waste time or money on this terrible place.

The people working there were great but I can’t believe I paid $32 for this.

For the price I didn’t not think it was worth it. It was cute but I did not feel like it was worth all the hype.

Everyone real Nice

We went back in February and had a GREAT time. So much that we talked it up to our family and everyone was looking forward to going. This time was a disappointment and the price felt too high for what we received. We missed the games looking for cherries, getting ice cream facts and trivia from staff members and competing for Hersheys kisses. Last time I felt like every corner I turned we were being inundated with sweets. This time I felt like we got next to nothing. We did go on a weekend and it was much more crowded but the capacity should be limited if the experience is going to be paired down for the price. The experience we had today was a glorified Instagram photo shoot but it was too crowded to get good pictures.

You had us stand outside for over an hour in 100 degree heat, way past our 1:30 appointment time. It took way too long to get in. Bad first impression. A couple of ideas: get covered shade with mist blowing for all people waiting. Require that waivers are signed at the time of purchase so that won’t be a delay. Also why is it so expensive? It’s overpriced and there I is there a $7 service fee which brings each ticket to over $40!!! All for a few pics and some ice cream? Not satisfied at all.

It was really nice to see all of the cool attractions but it was definitely overpriced for the value. I also paid for a milkshake that was mostly just whipped cream and warm melty ice cream. The staff was really nice and really cool pictures! But not worth $100 for 2 people.
