Spend approximately 2 hours at Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s largest and most picturesque wadis. This area boasts stunning natural pools ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxation. For those interested, a walk deeper into the wadi reveals even more of its breathtaking beauty.

A small restaurant is located near the entrance, providing a perfect spot for lunch before continuing the adventure to Wahiba Sands.

Wahiba Sands - Experience the Wahiba Sands Desert
Following your time at Wadi Bani Khalid, continue the journey into the awe-inspiring Wahiba Sands Desert. The first stop is a traditional Bedouin house, where a warm welcome with Omani coffee and dates awaits.

For an authentic desert experience, consider a camel ride, lasting 7–10 minutes, available for 3 OMR per person, payable directly to the Bedouin host.

Afterward, proceed to the dunes to witness the magnificent desert sunset, offering perfect opportunities for photography and peaceful contemplation.

Post-sunset, travel to your desert accommodation at Arabian Oryx Camp, where you will spend the night. Dinner and breakfast are included in your stay.

Wahiba Sands - Before breakfast, enjoy the sunrise near the camp. Following this, have breakfast and then depart from the Wahiba Sands Desert.

After a delightful breakfast at the camp, embark on a journey to the city of Ibra. Here, explore the vibrant local souq (market) and visit the ancient village of Ibra, renowned for its traditional architecture and historical allure.

After a leisurely lunch, begin the drive back to Muscat, with opportunities for scenic photo stops along the way.

Muscat - Conclude the overnight trip with a drive back to Muscat, which will take approximately 2 hours.
