Wonderful experience - We had a fantastic experience today in Wahiba sands and wadi bani Khalid. Our guide Khalid was top notch, extremely kind and knowledgeable and was always helping us out and making sure we had the best experience. He went way and beyond by taking tons of pictures of our families and treating us to local delicacies. I would definitely recommend this experience and Khalid as the guide.

Exciting trip to Wadi and the Desert! - Everything was arranged with comfort and attention. The trip was planned very well. We visited beautiful Wadi and Wahiba Desert. Our trip with Mr. Khalid in Oman was excellent. He is calm, respectful, and very attentive. He organized everything and accompanied us everywhere, even to places he hadn’t planned, just to make sure we felt safe and comfortable. He provided water, took photos throughout the trip, shared them afterwards, and even suggested great photo angles. What we appreciated most was his non-intrusive manner and the space he gave us — something we value a lot. We highly recommend !

We visited site beni khalid and sunset at sdu with a camel tour and I made very good photos - I had a very very good day with the guide Mr ALI. He explained to me the history of the country, culture tourism.. We ate on the way a very delicious traditional local meal

Private Desert Experience, True Omani Hospitality - We had the absolute pleasure of having Saif as our tour guide for our trip to Wadi Bani Khalid and Wahiba Sands, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, Saif went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, well-informed, and enjoying every moment. He was incredibly caring and attentive, always checking if we needed anything and ensuring we had plenty of food and drinks throughout the day (he even came prepared with refreshments before we started!). His knowledge about Oman was impressive — he shared fascinating stories, cultural insights, and historical facts with so much pride in his country, which made the journey even more special. Because it was off-season, Saif took us deep into the desert where we had the dunes completely to ourselves — a rare and magical experience. The dune bashing was thrilling, the camel ride unforgettable, and he even took us to us to visit a Bedouin house in the desert. One of the most remarkable moments was when I realised I had lost my phone in the desert — Saif immediately retraced our route and, against all odds, found it for me. That alone speaks volumes about his dedication and care for his guests. Saif’s professionalism, warmth, and genuine passion for what he does made us feel like we were travelling with a friend rather than just a guide. A breathtaking day drip - Wadi Bani Khalid and Desert Tour - We had booked the Wadi Bani Khalid and and Desert tour which also included the option of a short stop at a bedouin house and a chance for a camel ride for a few riyals. Our guide Saif was brilliant, he collected us from the hotel at the agreed time and was very engaging during our drive and knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting and passing. We guided around the wadi and given our own space and time to relax before get a quick lunch and proceeded to the bedouin tent and camel ride followed by brief but really enjoying ride on some camels. The view of the desert was beautiful. We then went ahead for the sunset on the dunes but unfortunately it was windy on the particular day and not unusual for the August period so didn't see the sun setting. Having said that we we were still driven to the dunes to experience the desert and had the whole place to ourselves. The experience at the desert before the sun set was unparalleled we spent over 30 mins enjoying the dunes all alone with breathtaking views across the desert. An experience and memory to treasure. The tour was wonderful and as described and our guide Saif made it memorable and a great experience with an Omani proud of his culture and nation.

Beautiful Sunset Excursion - Our sunset desert tour was such An amazing experience with Ahmed. He gave us a very local feeling the whole time, taking us around the whole desert area. The wadi was beautiful and he showed us a quiet spot we could swim there, then we ate at a really delicious local restaurant!! We got to see the Bedouin house in the desert with the camels and then we finished our time in the sand dunes for the sunset. He knew the desert very well and took us to a beautiful spot! A Life time Experience - It was my first desert experience, and I was left in awe. The landscape was absolutely stunning! We even visited a Bedouin house, where we enjoyed traditional coffee and dates. I rode a camel and watched the sunset over the dunes—an unforgettable moment. Mohammed was incredibly kind and helpful, making the entire trip relaxing and amazing. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone!

A must do place to visit in Oman - Wahiba Sands is truly a must-see in Oman. The colors of the sand shift beautifully with the light, and we were lucky enough to witness a thunderstorm rolling across the desert—an absolutely fascinating sight. It's such an incredible place! I was constantly amazed by the camels and goats roaming freely. A big thank you to our amazing guide, Yousof—I highly recommend him and Golden Desert Tours for an unforgettable experience.
