A great city tour of Muscat - This was a lovely tour, I had a message the evening before confirming the tour and pick up time. At 8.30am I was met by my guide and we set off on our city tour. It was Friday and during Eid so nothing much was open. We saw the Mosque from outside, the Opera House from outside then went onto the National Museum which was also closed. The Fort was open but I chose not to bother given the 10 OMR charge. The souq was great and the guide gave me as much time as I wanted. He was very hospitable, welcoming and would have gone out of his way if there was anything further I wanted to do.

Great way to see the highlights - Prompt communication with punctual pick up from my hotel. It was a great way to see many of the important places Muscat has to offer. My tour was on a Friday during Ramadan so unfortunately the Grand mosque, opera house and museum were closed, but in saying that, I still thoroughly enjoyed the tour, visiting the fort which was open was great.
