Being the sole public aquarium in Oman, we offer you an exciting journey through marine habitats and other terrestrial marvels. The Aquarium is modelled after the 15th Century Omani sailor, Ahmed Ibn Majid’s voyages across the Indian Ocean, from Africa and Indonesia, back to Oman. The various sea creatures he witnessed during his travels are showcased.
