We’ll guide you through the spectacular city of Muscat, where we’ll first stop at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. This Mosque houses one of the world’s largest single-piece handmade Iranian carpets, among a few others. This enormous carpet weighs a staggering 21 tons and can easily house up to 20,000 devotees. Following that, we’ll navigate around the government offices and the Royal Opera House area before making a brief stop at the picturesque Qurum Beach. The Muttrah Souk, offering a variety of keepsakes, is up next, followed by a tour of the Al Alam palace, the official residence of his majesty.
Our itinerary also includes visits to two Portuguese Forts, Al Jalali and Al Mirani. The forts provide an incredible experience to uncover and photograph. We’ll then proceed to tour another palace: the Al Bustan Palace for further exploration. To conclude the tour, we’ll have a photo session at the parliament, capturing some of the city’s most memorable images.
