Wonderful experience - Mr. Yahya was a fantastic guide who led us through the desert to our accommodation. On the way, we stopped to feed the camels. The desert is amazing, and the experience we had will remain in our hearts forever. Highly recommended!

Unforgettable experience - It was a great experience to travel with our guide to Wadi Bani Khalid, and to the desert Rose Camp. We saw a lot of beautiful things thanks to our guide. He recommended Omani food and drinks. The second day he took us to Ibra, an old city, and the market. Then he drove us back to Muscat. The guide was very friendly. We had a trip for two days we will never forget.

Nice tour! - Our driver Aziz was our tour guide for this trip. He was an excellent driver and took good care of us! We loved the trip and would absolutely recommend this trip and especially with Aziz as tour guide.
Day 1:

- Camelriding in the desert
- ATV in the desert
Day 2:
- Fins beach
- Wadi shab
- Bimma sinkhole (we asked to see this place, so we took another route on the way back for extra charge)

Our day was so great! - We had a very nice day first day. Bedouin house with camel ride and amazing Wadi Bali Khalid before heading to the desert camp. There we had a great night with good food, quad biking and a 4x4 drive up on the sand dunes to watch the sunset. Our guide Aziz was amazing the whole day, and we spent a lot of quality time together laughing, learning and exploring.

The desert is magic - We had a Waleed Guide who was at our disposal introduced us to the culture of Oman always at our disposal the most of this excursion: we were enchanted by the desert at sunset and rising in the morning, lunch in the Bedouin tent. A little camel tour visit the museum in the old village of Ibra. The accommodation in the camp in the desert was okay Desert Pink Camp medium food queen bed, but a little hard. you have to ask for a room by the dunes because there are often cars that do the "Dune Bashing" on Friday and Saturday evening, it is better to discover the desert outside these days

Fantastic experience - The desert is a magical place and it was great to have Aziz who drove us to our destination, bring us to good food places and riding quad with us into the dunes. People in the camp and the food also really great. Absolutely recommended

A Magical Desert Camp Experience - Our trip to the Wahiba Sands was truly unforgettable thanks to Waleed from Star Tours and the wonderful team at Desert Rose Camp.
Waleed was an outstanding guide — professional, warm, and full of heart. His deep knowledge of Omani culture and landscapes, combined with his great sense of humor, made every moment enjoyable and meaningful. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, turning our journey into a beautiful mix of learning, laughter, and connection.
Desert Rose Camp was equally exceptional. The dunes, sunsets, and star-filled nights were breathtaking. The staff were incredibly kind, the food delicious, and the atmosphere peaceful and authentic.
If you’re looking for an experience that blends adventure, comfort, and heartfelt Omani hospitality, we can’t recommend Waleed and Desert Rose Camp enough. A trip we’ll cherish forever! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent private tour with a very personal and professional hospitality. - From booking to the end our experience it was fantastic and the service provided was flawless.
Karen at reservations was amazing in her communication and updates before, during and after the tour.
The wadi, desert camp stay, desert safari ride for the sunset and the historic villages and souks were all things we could not have done on our own.
The Oryx Camp was perfect and all needs were catered for. A big thank you to Mr Noman and his team at the camp too. Buffet dinner was plentiful and tasty.
A very big thank you to our guide, Mr. Aziz for making it possible. At no time did we feel rushed and the conversation with Mr Aziz was flowing with lots of insight and historic knowledge from him into this beautiful country with beautiful people. Highly recommended to take this private tour and very very fond memories indeed.

A slice of modern Oman - My brother and I had a fantastic 36 hours with Nasr. We tasted Omani specialties and sweets that we never would have known about. We enjoyed a mountain oasis, got to meet some Bedouin people, and then spent time in the peaceful desert in a very nice glamping situation. The tour was flexible; the morning after the desert we weren't interested in going to the souq, so Nasr gave us a tour of the Grand Mosque of Muscat instead! Absolutely incredible. Oman is beautiful and the people are great. This tour was jam-packed with learning about the contemporary culture of Oman, while enjoying vacation fun like swimming in the oasis and going on a camel ride. We were super comfortable with Nasr's chill attitude and gracious hosting abilities.
