Castle & Fairy Tale town - The tour of the Harburg Castle and Rothenberg was excellent. Both locations are very unique and interesting. Rothenberg is right out of a fairy tale; I can't wait to see it in the Winter. Our guide, Debbie, was fantastic. She was extremely information during the bus route and gave simple and explicit instructions throughout the entire tour.

Two places I strongly recommend - Both places are great to see. Tour guide was informative and helpful on what to see and do. She even brought us to her favorite resturant for lunch if you wanted to go. The castle at Harburg was very interesting. The town of Rothenburg was a real treat. The tour guide explained the town and what to see. We had 3 hours of free time to explore. Could have used more time there as there was so much to do and see. Wonderful experience.

Rothenburg is beautiful - Rothenburg was the star of this trip. The Harburg Palace was okay but would have preferred more time in Rothenburg. Our guide, Debbie, was very knowledgeable with the right amount of humorous anecdotes.

Another great trip with Viator! - Beautiful, relaxing drive to charming Rothenburg. The shops were very quaint and unique. The Christmas shop was the highlight! Spent too much money! 😄 Loved Debbie and the bus driver!

Great Day Tour from Munich - We had a great day with this dsy tour to Rothenburg. The tour guide Henea and bus driver were great. She explained everything on the site as we were driving and she was very informative. Rothenburg is such a beautiful town. It's absolutely beautiful and a must do if your travels bring you to Munich Germany. A great full day tour and I highly recommend it. Thanks for a great day!

Fun day - Overall a great experience. Harburg was all tour and given an option to shop afterwards which we wanted coffee, which our tour guide wasn't happy about… but we were still one of the first in the bus. Rothenberg time came at the height of lunch hour with restaurants having lots of huge tours. Pick your restaurant wisely so you don’t sit waiting for a meal during the whole time to explore. We got lucky and the weather was chilly in the morning but sunshine in Rothenberg.

Harburg! And a long bus ride - Harburg Castle was great! Much more of a functional, historic castle than what you typically see on tours. Our guide there was wonderful as well! Rothenburg was beautiful but, it was an over-commercialized medieval town. Shopping, restaurants and several hotels! As our guide explained, it wouldn’t exist without tourists! Most of the day was spent on the bus, which was very clean with uncomfortable seats. Top deck provided nice views. USB chargers only. Our guide was very good providing a lot of commentary along the way. It was about 90 minutes to the Castle. From there 90 minutes to Rothenburg where we had 3 hours before a full 3 hour bus ride back to Munich.

Rothenburg dream village - Magical place. The guide of Harburg Castle told the story of the place with a lot of valuable information in a very funny way. It should take two hours more to explore the medieval wall.

Worth the trip - Getting on the bus in the morning was very unorganized . The castle tour was great and Rothenburg is an amazing place. It was a long bus ride but well worth it .

Not worth the time nor money - The Harburg visit required additional €10 to enter the castle. There is not much there except going inside the castle. The long trip is really worth about 2hours 45 min visiting Rothenburg. It would be better just to visit Rothenburg alone. The Trip Advisor posted $75 person price and it charged full amount $98. I could rent a car and drive it myself there. Nothing romantic about the trip. The driver and tour guide were good but the trip is too short of visiting time and too hectic.
