Weather allowing, you can admire Hohenschwangau Castle’s exterior beauty or take a tranquil stroll by the Alpsee lake. During colder weather, you can optionally visit the Museum of the Bavarian Kings - at your own cost. As darkness descends, a warm, modern coach will transport you back to Munich.

If you stand at Karlsplatz (Stachus) with your back to the fountains, you will see the toy shop "Obletter" on your left. If you continue straight ahead along Sonnenstraße, you will see the "Fielmann" eyewear store. There you will meet the tour guide and the coach.

Great tour! Tour guide... - Great tour! Tour guide very friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the whole experience a lot. Castle and surroundings are truly beautiful and unique. A must do while in Germany.

I loved the historical journey through Munich, the country side on the way to and along the Romantic Road. - The Tour Guide , Maria, was so lovely. She had fabulous history to share along the journey, and did so with a fabulous sense of humor.
The itinerary was well explained.
There was a choice of private time or being included in group activity.
It was a fabulous day with pristine transport.
Neuschwanstein Castle was so beautiful.

Great! - Great experience, definitely worth the money. Our guide Maria was very knowledgeable. It was nice to have a few our for ourselves to grab lunch and walk around the village.

Beautiful Day at Neuschwanstein Castle! - The host was friendly and informative. She had lots of historical and geographical information about the local area, and made our bus comfortable with asking questions. We felt we had adequate free time to explore the area around the castle unaccompanied. The tour of the castle itself only made up a small part of our day. While we were pleasantly surprised at this, we would have appreciated a clearer expectation of what the day would bring, before getting on the bus.

Too much waiting time between drop off & tour - The castle was beautiful but there was too long a gap between the time that we were dropped off in the town & the time of the tour. There isn't much to do in the town so it was far too long to wait around for the tour which itself was extremely brief! Our tour operators have a better schedule, offering a tour of 2 castles during the same duration for similar/same price.
