Absolutely worthwhile - This experience is well worth the short trip from Munich. It is both educational and eye-opening, even for those already knowledgeable about the holocaust and/or Nazi Germany. We had the services of an excellent guide, which I think is essential to maximizing this experience. I would gladly give our particular guide, Jamie, 5 stars (or the highest possible rating on any other scale). Because he was so excellent, I would also recommend any other tour led by Jamie.

Excellent guided tour - This visit was very well organized and extremely educational. Our guide Jamie was very informative and gave us clear explanations on Dachau concentration camp itself, as well as the political/socioeconomic history.

Dachau camp tour - Jamie met us at the station and guided us through to the camp. He was knowledgeable and answered questions about all aspects of the war in Germany and camp happenings. Very personable and happy to help. Kept to the schedule and gave us short breaks to sit or stand and discuss the many sensitive topics. Would definitely recommend this tour and Jamie as the guide.

Well worth your time - Jamie was an excellent guide with a deep knowledge of Dachau. He was genuinely passionate about this subject, and we learned so much more than if we had visited the site on our own. The guided tour was a good investment. The site itself was heart wrenching and thought provoking, and has been well designed for visitors.
