Perfect afternoon outing to get a feel for Mumbai - We had just one afternoon in Mumbai and this was a perfect tour to give us a real feel for the city. Himanji was an excellent tour guide. The itinerary was wonderful and seemed to hit all the spots and views of the city with excellent history and facts to accompany everything. The driver was amazingly skilled and had a tough job dropping us off and picking us up seamlessly in the busy Mumbai streets. Would highly recommend.

Smooth, informative Mumbai tour with excellent guide Oves and comfortable AC car - We had a fantastic experience on the Essentials of Mumbai City Tour with Passport Lifestyles. Everything was organized smoothly from pickup to drop-off, which made it very easy for first-time visitors to just relax and enjoy the day. Our guide, Mr. Oves, was excellent — knowledgeable, friendly, and great at explaining both the history and the everyday life of Mumbai. He paced the tour well and was happy to answer questions or adjust timing when we wanted to spend a little longer at certain stops. The car was clean, comfortable, and very well air-conditioned (important in Mumbai!), and the driver handled the traffic calmly and professionally all day. Overall a really enjoyable introduction to the city and a great way to see a lot without feeling rushed. Highly recommended.

Doing Elephanta with No Crowd! - Getting a jump on the crowd was worth the cost alone. Our boat left before 9:00 and we were first on the island and did not have to deal with a crowd. The transfers were great. The guide, Wybo, was very good and knowledgeable. Do the climb up Cannon Hill… nice views. We were leaving the island as the crowds arrived at 11:30.

Mumbai City Tour - This city tour was the second tour in Mumbai that we booked with Passport Lifestyles. As with our first tour to Elephanta Island, the whole experience was well crafted, informative, and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Ali, was not only knowledgeable, but having been raised in Mumbai, had interesting insights about Mumbai and its residents. He treated us to a vada pav (famous Mumbai “Indian burger”) and sugar cane juice from a street stall vendor. We tried the sugar cane juice only after he assured us it was completely safe for us to drink, which it was (we steadfastly avoid street food to avoid possibly getting ill but made this exception due to Ali’s assurances). He also unexpectedly added a short journey on a local train for us to have the experience (this was on a Saturday when the trains were not crowded!). We highly recommend this tour company and its excellent guides (besides Ali for the city tour we had Dave as our guide for Elephanta Island).
