Nice day trip in Mumbai - It was a really nice way to see another side of Mumbai. Not only did the guide attend me to the magnificent Elephanta Caves but I got to experience tasty local food and hear about Bollywood stories as well! Highly recommended.

A wonderful tour to Elephant Caves - We had the tour on Dec 8 and our guide was Devu, a nice guide with motivation and enthusiasm. I highly recommend having a guide to the Elephant Caves because a lot of sculptures can be explained with mythology by the guide. Devu also mentioned us to be careful with stairs and monkeys. After the tour, he guided us to an authentic restaurant called “Bagdadi” We had a great day and it’s already my second time to join Rahil’s tour. What a good choice 👍🏻

Amazing India does it again - Another amazing day in India. Our tour started from the Gateway of India and a peaceful boat ride to Elephanta. The walk up to the caves is a bit steep but you can take your time stopping at the stalls, cool food places (we had a great lunch there) and then there is the discovery of the caves .. tranquil yet exciting in the scale of the carvings and their amazing vigour and serenity. The multi head of Shiva was mesmerising.
My guide Rahil was clearly explaining the significance of the sites and always able to answer my frequent questions. I really appreciated that he knew which boat queue to join, had the ferry and cave entrance tickets organised.
Coming back to the Gateway was a bonus with a setting sun and crowds enjoying the cooler air of the evening. Rahil picked me up and delivered me back to my hotel as part of the deal. Along the way there were more bonuses with a great commentary on interesting places.
Obviously this was a great day. Thank you so much.

Not to be missed - Our guide, Devu, arrived right on time and took us to the dock for the trip to the island with the caves. Since this was our first time in Mumbai, he provide us with a history of the cultures of the city. This discussion flowed into an explanation of the Hindu religion. Devu spoke to out level, something like "Hindu for Dummies." After what I thought was an arduous trek up the steps to the caves, Devu turned us over to another guide, also an employee of company. He was a native of the island knew about the cave in depth. He spent nearly two hours explaining the statues in the caves. That evening we compared our tour with another couple who had also taken a tour of the caves earlier in the caves. We all agreed that we had the better tour. Also we met a second couple heading up to the caves the next day, and they asked where Devu had taken us for lunch. I provided the name and location. The next day, we encountered the couple who said that it was quite good and thanked us for the information.

Excellent trip on a ferry to the caves and an excellent lunch - Had a great day out with my tour guide Retro to see the Elephanta caves. It was a very worthwhile experience and Retro was very knowledgable and made sure my experience was the best it could be. We had a great lunch on the island before returning back to the mainland and on to my hotel. This was my second trip with Bollywood tours and everything is very professionally run and dependable. Highly recommend them for your sightseeing around Mumbai and surrounding areas.

Fully Comprehensive Tour of Elephanta Caves by a great Tour Company with a fantastic Tour Guide - My second tour (Part A) with this fantastic Tour Company, run by a true professional in the Mumbai Tourism Industry - Mr Rahil Khan. his love for his city - Mumbai - truly shows! He makes you feel welcome and truly goes out of his way to give you an amazing time.
(This was combined with the LGBTQ Friendly Mumbai City Tour on the same day, which continued after this in the afternoon - so apologies if some of it sounds the same)
Now for the Tour - Wow!
The guide - Wow!
Suraj - call him “Retro” - I now refer to him as a friend. He is a great guy and has an absolutely fantastic work ethic!
His knowledge of Mumbai, his friendly and caring nature, his overall enthusiasm for his job is an absolute credit to him. Also hearing his back story and upbringing - he is a shining light and deserves everything that comes before him. I can truly see him becoming a major force in the tourism industry.
First saw India Gate, then a ferry to the Island, a ride on the cute Toy Train, climbed the 120 or so steps, then got a comprehensive and detailed tour of Elephanta Caves by a Local Guide - Deepak.
Plenty of time to take photos, Retro without hesitation assists with photo taking - he makes you feel so comfortable - I had such a great time!
I made so many memories and truly recommend you to consider this tour. The lunch provided at Metro Cafe was delicious also & snacks and drinks we’re provided throughout the Tour.
No hesitation in recommending this tour - my Tour Guide Retro and the World Of Bollywood India Tours.

good experience but I wouldn't do it again - The location itself is quite beautiful, but the boat trip felt rather long and uncomfortably warm. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it unless there is a specific scientific or research-related interest in the area. That said, our guide made every effort to accommodate our requests and was very attentive throughout.
