Mt. Seoraksan is a gorgeous expanse of highlands spanning 398.5 square kilometers, graced by towering peaks, several waterfalls, large temples, and breathtaking vistas. Positioned in the Gangwon-do province near the port city of Sokcho, the range is topped by the summit of Daecheongbong. Standing at 1,708 meters above sea level, it is the third highest peak in the country and soars above the clouds.
Dinosaur Ridge, named for its resemblance to a dinosaur’s spiky spine, presents a magnificent view while offering a challenging trail due to constant ups and downs. The Dinosaur hiking trail takes roughly 10 hours to complete.
