Mt. Nemrut : The Thrones of The Gods

Mount Nemrut - Mt Nemrut is the national park of the neighbouring area of the tumuli including the tumuli of Karakuş and Arsemia, summer palaces of the kings, on the way to the top of the mountain.

Mt. Nemrut is a monumental burial site of King Antiochos of Kommagene Kingdom. On the top of Mt Nemrut, a site of three terraces around the tumuli, the remains of the statues of Gods, Goddesses and of course the king still are there to welcome and offer you a perfect view of his Kingdom.

Besides the history of the site, Mt Nemrut is one of the best sites to see the sunset in Turkey and We’ll be there on time and the wine will be our offering.

After sunset, we will drive to the Hotel in the City of Adıyaman.

Karakus Tumulusu - Karakuş is the small tumuli in the national park of Nemrut as the grave of King’s mother and the sister. It’ll be the first to visit on the site.

Cendere Bridge - One of the best examples of Roman Bridges, Cendere Bridge was constructed by the Roman Legions 2.Century AD in the reign of the Emperor Septimus Severus.

Arsemia Antik Kenti - Arsemia is site of Mt Nemrut as the summer palace area of the Kingdom Kommagene. Today, you can see some examples of reliefs of the palace and the longest inscription.
