Meet us at our base at Sólheimajökull Parking Lot. Driving time from Reykjavík is 2.5 hours. Drive along Road 1 on the South Coast, then take a left turn on Road 221. After ca. 5 minute drive, you will reach the starting point.

Wonderful kayaking tour with Carla-Paz - My partner and I went on this kayaking trip on the last day of our Iceland vacation. We are so glad we booked this! Carla-Paz did an AMAZING job of leading the tour. She is so intelligent, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. She told us all about the history of the glaciers and was very patient with us while kayaking (my partner and I are used to doing single kayaks separately, and the tandem kayak was a bit challenging for us). Before going on the water, Carla-Paz reviewed all the safety information we needed to know. This was such a lovely experience, we are so grateful to Carla-Paz for her expertise.

So much fun! - We are very inexperienced kayakers and this was a great experience! So serene and beautiful! Our guide, Sebastian, was so helpful and patient. Definitely the highlight of my first trip to Iceland!

Kayaking by a glacier and icebergs - This was an amazing kayak tour. Sebastian is an experienced guide with our safety in mind first and foremost. He navigated us near the glacier and around the icebergs. We learned a lot of interesting facts about the glaciers in Iceland. It was a beautiful, fun experience.

Ask for Fernanda - What an amazing experience getting up close with the glacier. But not too close cause you may even witness it break, which while sad, is a sight to see and a sound to hear. Ask for Fernanda, she’s the best. She’s a great tour guide and an awesome photographer to help you remember your amazing adventure. She even includes a glacier mud mask on her tour lol

Fun and interesting kayaking experience - The kayaking with Carla-Paz was really beautiful! You can kayak in between icebergs, touch them and even eat them.
Carla-Paz has a lot of passion for the area and knows a lot of facts and information.

The best kayak of your life - Fernanda was a fantastic tour guide, full of interesting information & a book of knowledge on the region. The kayaking tour was also super fun & we got to paddle close up to the stunning icebergs. This is one tour we will always remember!!

Excellet Kayaking Experience - Dianela is an excellent guide who cares about your safety. She's also very knowledgeable about the glaciers and kayaking. I strongly recommend taking a tour with her.

phenomenal tour and guide - My partner and I went on this tour with Dianela and it was one of my favorite parts of the trip. Dianela is very friendly, knowledgeable, and took time to teach about the area along with the tour. We had on wet suits and I felt pretty warm throughout. We only had 5 in our tour and it was nice to have a smaller group. Also being on the water you get away from everyone walking and can get a different view!
